Chapter 55
As the students poured onto the school grounds, Na yeon navigated through the crowd with a practiced air of detachment. She exchanged polite smiles with the teachers, who greeted her with warm welcomes. "Welcome back to school, Na yeon," one of them said, to which she replied with a courteous "Thank you, ma'am."
Despite her loner tendencies, Na yeon's eyes scanned the sea of students, searching for a single face that held a special place in her heart. And then, she saw him - Hyun Min, standing near a small, meticulously trimmed designer bush. Chuchu stood beside him, chatting and laughing, but it was clear that Hyun Min wasn't paying attention to her. He seemed distant, his gaze drifting elsewhere as Chuchu forced her conversation on him.
Na yeon didn't hesitate. She pushed her way through the students, her eyes fixed on Hyun Min. As she reached them, she rudely pushed Chuchu aside and threw her arms around Hyun Min, hugging him tightly. He looked surprised, taken aback by the sudden hug.
Na yeon held him tight, feeling the familiar scent of his shirt and the warmth of his body.
" Oppa did you miss me?" Nayon said, her voice filled with a mix of affection and possessiveness. Chuchu's eyes narrowed, her face twisted in annoyance. "Excuse me, who do you think you are?" Chuchu demanded, her voice sharp with indignation. "Why would you just come from nowhere and push me aside like that?"
Na yeon smiled sweetly, her eyes never leaving Hyun Min's face. "Look who's talking," Na yeon said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "The one who's been trying to get his attention all morning." Chuchu's face reddened with anger, but Na yeon continued, her voice unwavering. "Well, very soon I'll be married to him," Na yeon said, her words laced with a hint of triumph.
Chuchu's eyes widened in shock, and she took a step forward, her hands clenched into fists. "What? How dare you?" she spluttered, her voice rising in indignation. Na yeon just smiled, her eyes glinting with amusement. "How dare I?" she repeated, her voice low and husky. "Well, that's just rich coming from you, don't you think?" The air was thick with tension as the two girls faced off, their animosity towards each other palpable.
The air was electric with tension as Chuchu stormed over, her eyes blazing like hot coals. She reached out, her fingers closing around hyun min's wrist like a vice. But he shook her off, his movements swift and decisive.
Chuchu's face contorted in desperation. She lunged at him again, her hands grasping for his arm. But before she could latch on, Na Yeon intervened. Her eyes flashed with annoyance, and she pushed Chuchu away with a swift, economical motion. "Back off, Chuchu," Na Yeon said, her voice low and even.
Chuchu stumbled backward, her face twisting in rage. "Mind your own business, Na Yeon!" she spat, her voice venomous.
The situation was escalating rapidly, with neither side willing to back down. But hyun min had had enough. "Enough of all this," he said, his voice rising above the din. "I'm sick and tired of you two. Stay away from me.
As hyun min walked away, na yeon's gaze snapped towards Chuchu, her voice laced with a mixture of curiosity and annoyance. "So, you're happy now that he's gone, ah, are you happy now?" she asked, her tone dripping with skepticism.
Chuchu's response was immediate, but before she could utter a word, Na Yeon continued, her words tumbling out in a rush. "Can't you just get it into your damn head?...last semester, we fought a lot, and let's just... let's just not fight this semester. Not like I'm asking for peace, but I'm just saying it for your own good," Na Yeon said mockingly.
Chuchu's laughter was like a slap in the face, its mocking tone sending a spark of irritation through Na Yeon's veins. The sound hung in the air, a palpable reminder of the tension between them.
Chuchu's expression turned incredulous as she stared at Na Yeon. "You're funny, do you know that?" she said, her voice laced with sarcasm.
Na Yeon met Chuchu's gaze, her eyes flashing with determination. "Let me tell you something," she said, her voice low and even. "Like I said earlier, hyun min and I will be getting married once we get to college."
Chuchu's laughter returned, this time with a hint of mockery. "Don't tell me that bullshit," she said, rolling her eyes. "I don't believe that."
Na Yeon's expression remained calm, but her voice took on a steely tone. "I don't care whether you believe it or not," she said. "It's none of my business. I just want you to know that I won't take it lightly if I see you around hyun min again."
The tension between them was palpable as Na Yeon walked away, leaving Chuchu standing alone, her teeth clenched in frustration and anger. Chuchu's eyes blazed with resentment as she watched Na Yeon disappear into the crowd, her mind racing with unspoken words and unresolved emotions.

Sarah POV
As I stepped into the bus, I felt a surge of relief - two adjacent seats near the window waited, like a golden opportunity. I gestured graciously, my eyes sparkling with excitement. "You take the window seat, Camilla."
Camilla slid into the seat, her slender frame fitting perfectly into the space. I settled beside her, then, Camilla's voice broke the silence, her words barely above a whisper. "The heavens heard my prayer...we have the window seat!"she squealed.
My gaze met Camilla's, my eyes locking onto hers with empathy. "Hm, maybe," I replied, my voice a gentle echo of hers. But Camilla's expression shifted, a soft smile playing on her lips.

As I rummaged through my backpack, the soft rustle of wrappers and the clinking of bottles filled the air. I pulled out the snacks and drinks I'd picked up earlier, the sweet aroma of fruit wafting up to tease my senses. "Want some?" I asked Camilla, holding out the offerings with a smile.
Her eyes lit up like stars on a clear night as she reached for the juice, her fingers brushing against mine as she took it from me. I was holding two drinks, and I realized I'd grabbed extras without even thinking about it. I'd gotten three, actually, but I'd already had one in my hostel, so I figured I'd share with Camilla. The bus was still filling up with students, the murmur of their conversations creating a soothing background hum.
Just then, Hyun Min walked in, his backpack slung casually over one shoulder, the strap digging slightly into his shirt. A face cap covered his long hair, with his front bangs swept under the cap, while his back hair touched his shoulders, framing his face in a way that made him look effortlessly cool. A blonde girl trailed behind him, her eyes fixed on his back with an intensity that bordered on desperation. I'd never seen her before, and she seemed completely out of place, like a puzzle piece that didn't quite fit. Hyun Min passed by our seats, oblivious to the girl's gaze, and I found myself staring at him, my mind flashing back to the kiss incident. There was something about him that drew my attention, and I couldn't help but notice the way he moved with a quiet confidence.
But then I turned to Camilla, and I almost laughed. The drink was pouring out of her mouth, her eyes wide with shock as she stared at Hyun Min. "Oh...my.....God," she muttered, her voice barely audible over the din of the bus. I couldn't help but chuckle at her reaction, the sound bubbling up from deep within me.
