Chapter 56 - Chapter 56;CRUSH MODE ACTIVATED

Chapter 56

"Camilla, Camilla, do you have a disease or something?" I teased, my laughter bubbling up like a fountain. "Fall for every cute guy you see?" My words were laced with playful mockery, but Camilla's response was genuine.

Her face turned a deep shade of crimson, like a sunset on a summer evening, as she looked at me with a sheepish grin spreading across her face. "I think I do," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper, the words tumbling out like a confession.

I playfully pushed her head forward, trying to distract her from Hyun Min's captivating presence. But she was like a magnet, drawn to him with an irresistible force. She kept turning back, her eyes fixed on him with an unmistakable fascination.

"Come on, he's cute," she muttered, her voice full of longing, the words hanging in the air like a challenge. As I watched, Hyun Min made his way down the aisle, his movements fluid and effortless. He sat down a few rows away from us, his presence still palpable, like a whispered secret.

The unfamiliar girl sat down beside him, her eyes fixed on him with an intensity that bordered on obsession. I couldn't help but wonder who she was and what her story was, the mystery surrounding her like a veil of intrigue. Camilla's gaze remained fixed on Hyun Min, her eyes lingering on him with a mixture of admiration and curiosity.

I locked eyes with Camilla, a knowing glint sparking in my gaze. "Actually, I know him," I said, my words igniting a firework of curiosity in her eyes.

She swiveled her head towards me, her eyes wide with excitement, like a canvas splattered with vibrant colors. "You do? Oh my gosh, oh my gosh!" she exclaimed, her voice rising in pitch, a melodic crescendo that filled the air.

Her curiosity got the better of her, and she leaned in, her voice barely above a whisper. "How is he?" she asked, her words laced with an unmistakable longing.

I raised an eyebrow, a sly smile spreading across my face like a slow-burning flame. "He is a freak," I said, teasing her, my voice dripping with mischief.

But Camilla was undeterred, her conviction unwavering. "I like him," she said, her voice filled with a quiet confidence, like a declaration of faith.

I burst out laughing, my loud guffaws echoing through the bus like a joyful thunderclap. All the students turned their attention to me, their faces a mixture of annoyance, like a chorus of discordant notes.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry," I muttered, trying to compose myself, my words tumbling out like a hasty apology.

As the students turned back to what they were doing, I turned to Camilla, still chuckling, my eyes sparkling with mirth. "What did you say?" I asked her, my voice laced with playful incredulity.

"I said I like him," she replied, her face serious, like a mask of determination.

I laughed again, my voice filled with incredulity, like a disbelieving sigh. "Camilla, it's obvious you're crazy. Back at the cafeteria, you told me you liked the one you saw, and now this one. Like, seriously, I think you have a kind of disease, and you need to see a doctor."

We both laughed, our giggles mingling together like a joyful melody.

Camilla's gaze met mine, her eyes sparkling with a knowing glint. "It's a free world, where you are free to like anybody you want to," she said, her voice laced with a teasing tone.

I shook my head, a mixture of amusement and exasperation swirling within me. "Camilla, is this how you always are?" I asked, my curiosity piqued as I tried to gauge the depths of her personality.

Camilla's laughter was like music, her eyes dancing with mirth. "Impossible," I muttered under my breath, though a smile played on my lips.

With a flick of my wrist, I pulled out my headset and draped it around my neck, the soft padding a comforting presence against my skin. My fingers brushed against the camera nestled in my bag, and I pulled it out, anticipation building in my chest.

"Time for an adventure," I declared, my voice filled with excitement as the bus rumbled to life. The engine's roar was a crescendo, and we began to move, the school slowly receding into the distance.

We were in the second bus, following the first, which had already departed. The bus was abuzz with the chatter of students, their laughter and conversations weaving a lively tapestry. As we pulled away from the school, the wind rushed past us, carrying with it the promise of new experiences and untold stories.

The scenery outside the window blurred into a kaleidoscope of colors – the lush greenery, the vibrant buildings, and the endless sky. I felt a thrill of anticipation, my heart pounding in time with the bus's rhythmic motion. Camilla's presence beside me was a comforting constant, her laughter and chatter punctuating the journey.

As the bus finally broke free from the school's confines, Camilla's eyes sparkled with excitement as she reached for my camera. "Can I take some pictures of the road and everything? And maybe some videos too?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper, yet infused with an infectious enthusiasm.

I handed over the camera, and Camilla's fingers danced across the controls as she snapped photos and recorded videos. Her focus was captivating, her entire being absorbed in the moment.

Meanwhile, my attention drifted to the rows ahead, where Hyun Min sat, the blonde girl that sat beside him, her attempts to touch him met with polite yet firm rebuffs. Hyun Min's movements were gentle, yet resolute, leaving no room for misinterpretation.

I wondered who this girl was and what her connection to Hyun Min might be. Memories of Chuchu's claims of dating him resurfaced, but I'd hardly seen her around him lately, probably somewhere planning evil..

As I watched, the blonde girl persisted in her pursuit, despite Hyun Min's obvious discomfort. Her actions only seemed to frustrate him further, and I found myself sympathizing with his plight.
