The mechanical breathing of Toji's Vader suit filled the silence at Capsule Corporation. Medamatcha's corpse lay twisted on the ground, neck snapped backward by telekinesis.
The remaining minions of Lord Slug backed away instinctively, sensing them being unworthy to stand before who had arrived.
Lord Slug studied Toji with unabashed curiosity, his newly rejuvenated face revealing a hint of amusement rather than anger at his subordinate's death.
"Interesting," Slug said, his deep voice resonating across the battlefield. "Another anomaly walks the cosmos. Lord Slug had thought this race... incapable."
Toji's gaze swept over the fallen Z fighters - Piccolo gasping for breath, Krillin barely conscious, Gohan struggling to stand.
The terrified Namekians huddled together, their faces etched with fear as they watched the confrontation unfold.
"Release him," Toji commanded, gesturing to Piccolo beneath Slug's foot.
Slug tilted his head, considering the request. After a moment, he stepped away from Piccolo, who collapsed forward, coughing.
"Your power... intrigues Lord Slug," the ancient Namekian observed, circling Toji with predatory interest. "A human with such ki is unprecedented. Perhaps you would make a worthy... general in Lord Slug's army."
"I already rule one-fifth of the known universe," Toji replied, his modulated voice betraying no emotion. "Your offer holds no interest."
Slug's laughter rumbled like distant thunder. "Bold claims from one so... young. Lord Slug has existed for a million years. Empires rise and fall like... waves upon cosmic shores."
The ancient Namekian spread his arms wide, his muscles rippling with power. "Let us see what the universe has sent to challenge... The Dragon."
Without warning, Toji launched forward, crossing the distance between them in a heartbeat. His fist connected with Slug's face, the impact creating a shockwave that shattered nearby windows.
Slug didn't move an inch.
"Impressive strength," Slug acknowledged, not bothering to block or dodge. "But lacking... refinement."
With blinding speed, Slug countered, his fist moving so fast it left afterimages. Toji barely managed to raise his arm to block, the force still sending him skidding backward.
"Your raw power is commendable," Slug observed, casually adjusting his scarf. "But power without technique is merely... wasteful exertion."
Toji responded by extending his hand, forming a brilliant white sword of ki. The energy blade hummed with power as he charged again, slashing.
Slug formed his own green ki blade, parrying Toji's attack with effortless grace. "The art of ki weaponry was ancient when Lord Slug was young," he lectured, countering with a series of strikes that forced Toji on the defensive. "Your form lacks... historical foundation."
Their blades clashed repeatedly, creating flashes of white and green light. Toji adapted quickly, his movements becoming more fluid with each exchange.
"He's learning like always during the fight," Krillin whispered to Gohan as they both regained consciousness. "it's still mind boggeling."
Toji dismissed his ki sword, instead creating dozens of small energy spheres that orbited around him. With a gesture, he sent them flying toward Slug from multiple angles.
The ancient Namekian smirked, extending his arms to impossible lengths. His hands moved in blur, swatting away each energy sphere as if they were annoying insects.
"Energy projection techniques developed similarly to the Metamorans," Slug commented, repeating his earlier words to the others. "Primitive echoes of arts Lord Slug mastered... eons ago."
Toji changed tactics, embedding invisible ki mines in the ground around Slug. When the Namekian stepped on one, it detonated with explosive force, momentarily catching him off guard.
"Interesting approach," Slug admitted, regenerating a damaged leg. "Creative... if inefficient."
Toji's mechanical breathing remained steady as he assessed his opponent. This was unlike any battle he'd faced before. Slug wasn't just powerful - he had most definitely experience spanning a million years.
"KAIO-KEN TIMES FIVE!" Toji's aura erupted into crimson flame, his power multiplying instantly.
Slug's eyes widened slightly - the first genuine reaction he'd shown. "A Kaio technique? A divine art taught by directional gods. Lord Slug is... impressed."
With his enhanced speed, Toji created a complex network of ki constructs - spears, shields, and chains that attacked Slug from all directions.
"The Northern Quadrant fighting style," Slug observed, deflecting each construct. "Mixed with Eastern Quadrant defensive formations. An interesting... hybrid approach."
From below, Yamcha helped Tien to his feet. "This is insane," Yamcha muttered. "Slug's treating this like a sparring session."
"Toji's creative," Tien replied, clutching his injured ribs. "But Slug has literally a million years of experience. It's like watching a child prodigy challenge a grand master."
Meanwhile, as the battle raged overhead, Nail approached the fallen Piccolo. The Namekian warrior knelt beside him, his expression solemn.
"Brother," Nail said quietly, "there is a way to help."
Piccolo struggled to sit up, his body still partially paralyzed from Slug's attack. "What are you talking about?"
"An ancient forbidden technique," Nail explained, his voice low so only Piccolo could hear. "Namekian fusion. I can give you my power, my knowledge, my very being."
Elder Moori overheard and stepped forward. "Nail, no! That technique was forbidden for a reason!"
"What choice do we have?" Nail countered, his eyes never leaving Piccolo. "Lord Slug is a shameful part of our history - a mistake the Namekians must rectify."
Piccolo's eyes narrowed. "What exactly are you proposing?"
"I will merge with you," Nail explained. "You will remain yourself, but with my strength, my memories, and my abilities added to your own. It is an ancient technique where one Namekian gives another their soul and body."
"Why me as the base?" Piccolo asked suspiciously.
"Because you have connections to Earth's protectors, as well are a Transcendent." Nail replied. "And because you are already a part of formerly one being, you understand what it means to be more than the sum of your parts."
Dende rushed forward, tears in his eyes. "Nail, please! There must be another way!"
"There isn't," Nail said gently. "Lord Slug must be stopped. Even with the human anomaly's power, they need more help."
Cargo grabbed Nail's arm. "You can't! You'll cease to exist as yourself!"
Nail placed a hand on the young Namekian's head. "I will live on through Piccolo. My knowledge, my experiences - nothing will be lost."
Elder Moori finally stepped forward, his aged face lined with sorrow. "Nail has made his choice. We must respect it."
Piccolo looked up at the battle raging above them. Toji was fighting valiantly, but Slug was merely toying with him. Even with the Kaio-ken, Toji wasn't landing meaningful blows.
"Do it," Piccolo decided. "If it gives us a chance against that monster, do it now."
Nail nodded solemnly. He knelt beside Piccolo and placed the wounded Namekian's hand against his own chest.
"This will hurt," Nail warned. "But the pain is temporary."
With those words, Nail's body began to glow. His form became translucent, then transformed into pure light that flowed into Piccolo. Piccolo screamed as memories, power, and knowledge flooded his consciousness.
He saw Namek through Nail's eyes - lush green fields, crystalline waters, peaceful villages. He felt the crushing despair when Freeza's attacked. He experienced Nail's pride, his dedication, his unwavering sense of duty.
When the light faded, only Piccolo remained, but changed. He stood slowly, his injuries healed, his power dramatically increased.
His muscles had expanded slightly, and his expression carried a new depth of wisdom.
It seems it unlocked as well a significant portion of his potential - Nail while offering his being, at the last moment having applied the technique Guru taught him, that he failed to do before now. Only having been able to do it at the cost of life.
Life sacrificed for the bottomless well of another life's potential.
"Thank you, Nail," Piccolo whispered, feeling the warrior's presence within his mind.
'You're welcome,' Nail's voice responded in his thoughts. 'Now let's help your friend.'
Above them, the battle had intensified. Toji had increased to Kaio-ken x10, his crimson aura blazing against the darkened sky.
He was creating increasingly elaborate ki constructs - shields that could deflect Slug's energy attacks, spears that multiplied when broken, even a massive hammer that he brought down on Slug's head.
The ancient Namekian blocked the hammer with one hand, his expression still one of mild amusement.
"Your creativity is... admirable," Slug commented. "But without proper foundation, creativity is merely... flailing in the dark."
Slug demonstrated his point by creating perfect replicas of Toji's constructs, then improving upon them - his spears moved faster, his shields were more efficient, his attacks more precisely targeted.
"In the cosmic hierarchy," Slug lectured while effortlessly deflecting Toji's attacks, "Dragons stand supreme. Above mortals, above gods, above all creation."
"You talk too much," Toji growled, creating a massive ki blade that extended from his fist.
Slug chuckled. "Knowledge shared is knowledge... honored. The young should listen when The Dragon... speaks."
"If I wanted a philosophy lecture," Toji retorted, slashing at Slug, "I would have stayed at the Imperial Palace with King Cold."
Slug's eyes narrowed at the mention of Cold. "The frost demon dynasty still... persists? Interesting. They were mere fledglings, echoes of past glories when Lord Slug last walked among the stars."
Suddenly, a green beam pierced the air between them. Both combatants turned to see Piccolo hovering nearby, his arm extended from firing his attack.
"Another joins the fray," Slug observed, studying Piccolo. "And not just any other. You have... absorbed a brother... Nail I believe, correct?"
Piccolo smirked. "I'm full of surprises."
"The forbidden fusion technique," Slug said, his tone disapproving. "Diluting pure bloodlines for temporary... advantage. Disappointing."
"Less talking," Piccolo replied, "more fighting."
He charged forward, moving with speed and precision far beyond his previous capabilities. Toji immediately adapted, coordinating his attacks with Piccolo's.
Together they pressed Slug from multiple angles, their attacks synchronized despite never having fought together before.
Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon forced Slug to dodge directly into Toji's ki blade, which sliced through the Namekian's arm.
Slug regenerated instantly, his expression finally showing mild annoyance rather than amusement.
"The Dragon has not been truly challenged in eons," he admitted. "Perhaps this will be... educational for all involved."
He extended both arms, which split into four, then eight appendages. Each hand formed a different ki construct - blades, shields, hammers, spears - all attacking simultaneously.
Toji increased to Kaio-ken x15, his body visibly straining under the enhanced power. "KAIO-KEN TIMES FIFTEEN!"
Fifteen times 24 billion - 360 billion.
The crimson aura intensified as Toji countered Slug's multiple attacks. Piccolo added his own techniques, using abilities gained from Nail that even he hadn't known intellectually that they existed.
(But he knew them instinctively as King Piccolo, who created sons who were more dragon - with wings and all - than Namekian.)
"Ancient Namekian Arts: Dragon's Claw!" Piccolo's hands transformed into glowing green talons that slashed through Slug's ki constructs.
"You know the old ways," Slug acknowledged, sounding genuinely impressed. "Perhaps there is hope for our race yet."
Despite their combined efforts, Slug still maintained the upper hand. His movements were economical, his techniques flawless, his regeneration instantaneous.
"He's just playing with us," Piccolo realized aloud. "He hasn't even shown his true power."
Slug smiled, the expression chilling rather than warm. "The student begins to... understand. Lord Slug has existed for more than a million years. Do you think he survived this long by revealing his full strength unnecessarily?"
Toji created a massive ki shield as Slug launched a barrage of energy blasts. The shield held, but cracks appeared across its surface.
"We need a new strategy," Toji said to Piccolo. "He's too experienced, too skilled. We can't beat him with conventional attacks."
---------------------------
Below, Tien had recovered enough to help Gohan stand. He watched the battle with narrowed eyes.
"Toji's defense is impressive," Tien said. "But Piccolo is right - Slug is merely toying with them."
"Can't we help somehow?" Gohan asked desperately.
Tien hesitantly shook his head. "We'd only get in the way. Their power levels are far beyond ours now."
-----------------------
Above them, Slug had apparently tired of the exchange. "The lesson has been... informative. But Lord Slug grows weary of this educational exercise."
His expression darkened as he raised both hands skyward. "Perhaps it is time to educate these children on... true power."
The air around Slug began to shimmer, his body glowing with green Ki. His form started to change - growing larger, more reptilian. Scales erupted across his skin, his face elongating into a snout, wings bursting from his back.
"What's happening?" Krillin asked himself more than anything, his voice trembling.
"He's transforming," Piccolo replied from above, his expression grim. "Into another form."
The transformation completed with a blinding flash of green light. Where Slug had stood now hovered a massive green dragon with glowing red eyes, leathery wings spanning hundreds of feet, and scales that gleamed like emeralds in the sunlight.
"BEHOLD THE TRUE FORM OF THE DRAGON!" Slug's voice boomed, deeper and more resonant than before. "ABOVE ALL CREATION, ABOVE ALL GODS, DRAGONS STAND SUPREME!"
The massive creature's power level had skyrocketed, the mere presence of Dragon Slug causing the earth to tremble. Buildings cracked, the ground split, and the air itself seemed to grow heavy with his energy.
"KAIO-KEN TIMES TWENTY!" Toji pushed himself to his sustainable limit, his crimson aura blazing against the darkened sky.
Even with this power boost, his attacks barely affected Dragon Slug now. The massive creature swatted him away like an annoying insect, sending him crashing through several buildings.
Piccolo tried his Special Beam Cannon, concentrating all his power into the attack. The spiral beam struck Dragon Slug directly in the chest but merely bounced off his scales.
"YOUR TECHNIQUES ARE ADMIRABLE," Dragon Slug rumbled, "BUT AGAINST THE SUPREME BEING OF CREATION, THEY ARE AS NOTHING."
Tien and Chiaotzu, having recovered enough to fly, joined the battle. Tien formed a triangle with his hands.
"TRI-BEAM HA!" The attack carved a massive crater beneath Dragon Slug, who remained hovering unaffected.
Chiaotzu attempted his telekinesis, trying to hold the massive dragon in place. Dragon Slug merely flexed his wings, breaking the telekinetic hold and sending Chiaotzu spiraling away.
"INSECTS ATTEMPTING TO CHALLENGE A DRAGON," Slug mocked. "YOUR DETERMINATION IS ADMIRABLE BUT MISGUIDED."
Toji rejoined the battle, creating his most elaborate ki construct yet - a massive warrior of light that mimicked his movements. The construct grappled with Dragon Slug while Toji coordinated with Piccolo for another attack.
Dragon Slug's tail whipped around, shattering the ki construct and striking both Toji and Piccolo. The impact sent them crashing into the remains of Capsule Corporation.
"We're losing," Toji admitted, his mechanical breathing heavy, his eye showing as his Helmet cracked, pulling himself from the rubble. "Badly."
Piccolo nodded grimly. "He's too powerful in this form. We need something new."
Toji closed his eyes, concentrating. 'King Kai, can you hear me?'
'Yes, Toji,' came the immediate response. 'It's worse than I feared. Slug's dragon form is his true nature - the embodiment of his status as an anomaly among the Namekians.'
'I need to contact Kami,' Toji thought urgently. 'Can you connect us?'
'Of course,' King Kai replied. After a moment: 'He's listening.'
'Kami,' Toji projected while dodging Dragon Slug's attacks, 'I need you to forcibly activate the Dragon Balls like Slug did. I need a wish.'
'That's dangerous,' Kami's voice responded. 'Forcing the Dragon's appearance disrupts the natural energy cycle.'
'We don't have a choice!' Toji insisted mentally. 'Slug will destroy everything if we don't stop him.'
'What wish could possibly help against such power?' Kami questioned.
Toji ducked under Dragon Slug's tail. 'I need Shenron to give me the knowledge and ability Freeza has to create transformations, and the knowledge to reverse the process - to create a transformation that magnifies power rather than suppresses it.'
There was a long pause before Kami responded. 'Shenron cannot grant what doesn't exist, Toji. His power is far more limited compared to Porunga.'
'Then figure something out!' Toji mentally shouted, his frustration mounting as he barely avoided Dragon Slug's claws.
'Even if it were possible,' Kami continued, 'altering your essence by bestowing another race's ability would create an imbalance between soul and body. It could cripple your potential permanently.'
'You'd need to replicate it by understanding how their Ki is formed in correspondance to their body, and integrate it to suit your own nature.'
Toji pushed beyond his limits. "KAIO-KEN TIMES TWENTY-TWO!"
His body screamed in protest as he forced more power through his muscles. The strain was visible - blood vessels bulging, muscles tearing and repairing themselves continuously.
'Then I'll do that! Just give me the knowledge how to do it!' Toji projected desperately. 'If we don't stop Slug now, there won't be a future to worry about!'
Dragon Slug's attacks were destroying large portions of West City. Civilians fled in terror as buildings collapsed around them.
Yamcha and Krillin were desperately trying to evacuate people while Tien and Chiaotzu provided cover.
Gohan attempted to join the fight, but Krillin held him back. "No, Gohan! You're not strong enough yet!"
"But my dad's not here!" Gohan protested. "Someone has to help them!"
-------------------------
On the Lookout, Kami stood in grim silence, watching the battle through his mind's eye. Mr. Popo waited anxiously beside him.
"There may be one way," Kami finally said aloud. "But the cost would be terrible."
"What is it, Kami?" Mr. Popo asked.
"The Black Star Dragon Balls," Kami replied, his voice heavy with concern. "Created by me before the split. Their power exceeds Shenron's, but using them comes with grave consequences."
'Toji,' Kami projected, 'there exist Dragon Balls more powerful than Earth's - the Black Star Dragon Balls. They could grant your wish, but using them would scatter them across the universe, not just Earth. If not collected within a decade, Earth would be destroyed.'
'Do it,' Toji responded immediately. 'If we don't stop Slug, Earth is destroyed anyway.'
After a moment's hesitation, Kami nodded grimly. "This way, Mr. Popo."
He led the way to a hidden chamber deep within the Lookout. Mr. Popo followed, wringing his hands anxiously.
"Kami, please reconsider," Mr. Popo pleaded. "The Black Star Dragon Balls were sealed away by you for good reason."
"We have no choice," Kami replied, placing his hand against a wall that shimmered and disappeared, revealing a small room containing seven black orbs with red stars.
"The consequences-" Mr. Popo began.
"Will be dealt with later," Kami finished firmly. "If there is a later."
He arranged the Dragon Balls in a circle and raised his hands. "Eternal Dragon, by your name, I summon you forth: ULTIMATE SHENRON!"
The Black Star Dragon Balls pulsed with crimson light. The sky worldwide darkened as a massive red dragon erupted from the balls, far larger than the normal Shenron and even Porunga.
Its body coiled through the clouds, stretching beyond sight, its red eyes glowing like twin suns.
"WHO DISTURBS MY SLUMBER?" Ultimate Shenron's voice boomed, causing earthquakes worldwide.
"I am Kami, Guardian of Earth," Kami replied, his voice steady despite his fear. "I wish for Toji Fushiguro to gain the knowledge of transformation creation as possessed by the Frost Demons, and the understanding of the principles of Ki needed to know to reverse this process."
The massive dragon's eyes glowed brighter. "THIS WISH IS WITHIN MY POWER. IT SHALL BE GRANTED."
Ultimate Shenron's eyes flashed, and the Black Star Dragon Balls rose into the air, scattering not across Earth but throughout the universe, disappearing in seven streaks of light.
Kami collapsed from the effort, Mr. Popo rushing to his side. "Kami!"
"It is done," Kami whispered weakly. "The rest is up to Toji."
--------------------------
Back at the battlefield, Toji suddenly staggered mid-flight.
Knowledge began pouring into his mind - complex understandings of cellular structure, ki flow patterns, the relationship between form and power.
"What's happening?" Piccolo asked, covering for Toji as he processed the information.
"Knowledge," Toji managed through gritted teeth. "From... Ultimate Shenron."
Dragon Slug noticed something happening and increased his aggression. "WHATEVER TRICK YOU ATTEMPT WILL FAIL. THE DRAGON STANDS SUPREME ABOVE ALL CREATION!"
Toji struggled to understand the concept of reversal while dodging Dragon Slug's attacks. The information need to create the process from scratch was there, but trying to do so during combat was nearly impossible.
"I need time!" Toji called to Piccolo.
"Time is something we don't have," Piccolo responded, but immediately positioned himself between Toji and Dragon Slug. "But I'll give you what I can."
Piccolo unleashed every technique he had gained from Nail, from his own experience, and from his connection to Kami. Ki attacks, physical attacks, illusions - all designed to distract Dragon Slug.
The Z fighters joined in, providing whatever support they could. Krillin's Destructo Disk sliced through one of Dragon Slug's wings, though it regenerated almost instantly.
Tien's Multi-Form technique created four copies of himself, attacking from different angles. Yamcha's Spirit Ball curved around Dragon Slug's defenses, striking vulnerable points.
"AMUSING," Dragon Slug rumbled. "LIKE INSECTS ATTEMPTING TO BRING DOWN A MOUNTAIN."
Toji floated in place, his eyes closed - one beneath and one outside his helmet as he processed the knowledge.
Transformation creation was complex but understandable - Frieza's species naturally produced suppressive forms to contain their power.
But reversing the process was proving elusive.
'Reversal is creating the opposite,' Toji thought frantically. 'But it isn't just reversing the flow of Ki...There's something I'm missing.'
Dragon Slug grew impatient with the distractions. "ENOUGH OF THIS GAME. THE LESSON ENDS NOW."
The massive dragon inhaled deeply, his chest expanding. "BEHOLD THE DRAGON'S ETERNAL FLAME - FIRE THAT CONSUMES EVEN SOULS!"
Black flames gathered in Dragon Slug's mouth, growing in intensity until they threatened to overflow. The heat was so intense that the air around him began to warp and distort.
"EVERYONE BACK!" Piccolo shouted, recognizing the danger.
Dragon Slug released the black fire in a concentrated beam aimed directly at Toji and Piccolo. The attack moved with shocking speed, leaving no time to dodge.
Toji suddenly snapped from his concentration, trying to flee, while shoving Piccolo aside with telekinetic force. "GET CLEAR!"
The black flames engulfed Toji completely, his crimson Kaio-ken aura disappearing within the darkness. Piccolo watched in horror as the attack continued, Dragon Slug pouring more energy into it.
"TOJI!" Piccolo shouted, unable to see through the black fire.
Inside the inferno, Toji felt his body burning, his ki being consumed by the unnatural flames. His Vader suit melted away, the helmet splitting and falling from his face, the chest plate disintegrating to reveal his bare torso.
As death approached, he... understood.
------------------------
Laughter erupted from within the black flames, startling everyone - including Dragon Slug, who momentarily ceased his attack.
"I understand now," Toji's voice called out from within the fire. "Hey Slug! If what you say is true- if nothing exists superior to Dragons in this universe, then I'll take the form of something beyond it - an imaginary fierce God!"
Red light began glowing within the black flames, growing brighter until it outshone the darkness. With a sound like reality tearing, the flames dispersed, revealing Toji's transformed state.
He had grown to eight feet tall, his body rippling with new muscle. Two additional arms had sprouted beneath his original pair, all four limbs covered in intricate black tattoo-like markings that pulsed with power.
His face remained his own, but a second pair of eyes had opened below his own, all four eyes glowing red with black swirl patterns.
His tattered Vader suit hung from his waist, his chest completely exposed and covered in more of the black markings.
"What... is this?" Dragon Slug rumbled, momentarily stunned by the transformation.
Toji flexed his four arms, spreading them wide, as he looked at the sky with a wild grin spreading across his face. "I couldn't have done it without you pushing me to the gates of death," he said, his voice carrying a manic edge.
"There, I saw it - the reversal of life, the reversal of ki itself!"
He moved with blinding speed, appearing directly in front of Dragon Slug's massive face. "The suppression inverted becomes magnification. The containment reversed becomes expansion!"
Dragon Slug recovered from his surprise, swatting at Toji with a massive claw. "ANOTHER TRANSFORMATION MEANS NOTHING! DRAGONS STAND SUPREME!"
Toji caught the claw with one hand, stopping it completely. "You talk too much," he said, his expression almost euphoric. "Has anyone ever told you that?"
With his free hand, Toji struck Dragon Slug's snout with enough force to snap the dragon's head backward. The impact created a shockwave that cleared the clouds for miles around.
"Is he... high?" Krillin asked incredulously, watching Toji laugh as he battled the massive dragon.
"Power drunk," Piccolo corrected, recognizing the symptoms. "The transformation is affecting his mind."
Toji danced around Dragon Slug's attacks, moving with impossible grace. With each movement, the black markings on his body pulsed with power.
"I can see everything," Toji exclaimed, dodging attacks before they were even launched. "Every movement, every energy flow, every possibility!"
Dragon Slug's expression showed the first hints of concern. "YOUR PARLOR TRICK IMPRESSES NO ONE! YOU FACE THE SUPREME BEING OF CREATION!"
Toji's four hands worked in perfect coordination, forming a complex pattern in the air.
Black energy gathered between his palms, condensing into a spear made of what appeared to be the same bio-armor material as Freeza's 5th form.
"A weapon?" Dragon Slug scoffed. "Against scales that withstand supernovas?"
Toji's four eyes narrowed in focus, the black swirl patterns spinning hypnotically. "Let's find out."
With perfect form, Toji hurled the spear. It moved faster than anyone could track, leaving a trail of distorted space in its wake. Dragon Slug attempted to dodge, twisting his massive body at the last second.
The spear pierced through his wing and into his chest, narrowly missing his heart. Green blood erupted from the wound as Dragon Slug roared in pain and genuine surprise.
For the first time since the battle began, Dragon Slug's expression showed fear.
The two titans faced each other - a transformed human and an ancient dragon - their battle far from over.
(Toji's appearance pic here and in the comments:)
----------------------
Below the world, deep within an underground laboratory, a child-like figure floating in green liquid twitched.
Its eyes opened briefly, sensing the distant power surge, before drifting back to unconsciousness.
"Soon," Dr. Gero whispered to boy. "Soon you will be perfect. And transcend even your mighty father."

(Author note: Hello everyone! I hope you all liked the chapter!
So finally, Toji's understood and is able to create his own transformations.
Hope you guys like that.
The Dragon form thing- well, Demon King Piccolo had kids with wings, and so, that's what really inspired this form.
Now, Toji's form. I was constantly thinking about what Toji should transform into, cause I still want it to be human, cause that's the theme and all that.
Just an eye color change and aura change was too little, and then I remembered- wait, Toji is already based on JJK in appearance so... why not take more of it?
And so was born the Dragon vs The Imaginary.
Next chapter we'll have a true fight, since this chapter was more Slug having fun in the beginning, toying around, trying to get his ego back after getting his ass kicked by Majin Buu.
Well, I hope to see you all later,
Bye!)
