Chapter 53 - "None is more proud and conceited,"

Toji stood before Dragon Slug, examining his transformed body with unabashed delight.

Four arms.

Four eyes.

Black tattoo-like markings adorning his torso where the melted Vader suit had exposed his flesh.

The sensation was intoxicating - power coursing through every cell, every molecule vibrating with newfound strength.

He laughed, a sound of genuine pleasure that echoed across the ruined landscape of West City.

"This..." he breathed, flexing all four arms simultaneously, "...is magnificent."

Dragon Slug's massive form towered above him, his head weaving like a serpent's as the ancient being regarded this new development with narrowed eyes.

"YOUR TRANSFORMATION MEANS NOTHING," Dragon Slug rumbled. "A MERE PARLOR TRICK AGAINST THE SUPREME BEING OF CREATION."

Toji tilted his head, all four eyes focusing on the dragon with amused contempt. "Supreme being? How adorably quaint."

He stretched languidly, as if waking from a pleasant nap rather than standing before a creature of apocalyptic power. "I suppose when you've lived a million years with no proper challenge, delusions are inevitable."

From the relative safety of a partially collapsed building, the Z Fighters watched in astonishment.

"What... what happened to him?" Krillin whispered, eyes wide with disbelief. "He's completely different."

Piccolo's expression was grim. "The transformation has affected his mind. He's drunk on power."

"No," Tien corrected, his arms crossed as he studied Toji's new form. "This is I think who he really is. All that power would make anyone proud- especially from someone born as strong as Toji. The mask of civility simply has fallen away."

Above them, King Kai's voice echoed in their minds. "This is beyond anything I've witnessed in ten thousand years as a Kai! The transformation Toji has achieved shouldn't be possible for a human. He's somehow inverted the suppression technique of the Frost Demons, creating a form that magnifies rather than contains power!"

Dragon Slug spread his massive wings, casting a shadow over the ruined city as he unleashed his full power as an aura of green Ki enveloped him. "YOUR ARROGANCE WILL BE YOUR UNDOING, LITTLE ONE. THE DRAGON HAS EXISTED FOR EONS, WITNESSED THE RISE AND FALL OF GODS THEMSELVES."

Toji yawned theatrically, covering his mouth with one hand while the other three gestured dismissively.

"A million years of existence, and this is the best vocabulary you could develop? Disappointing." He floated upward until he was eye-level with Dragon Slug's head. "Allow me to educate you on what true power looks like. Pay attention now - I do so hate repeating myself."

Without warning, Toji vanished. Dragon Slug's head swiveled in confusion before a devastating impact to his neck sent shockwaves across the battlefield.

Toji had reappeared behind him, striking with such force that the dragon's massive body lurched forward.

"Lesson one," Toji announced, his voice carrying an almost professorial tone despite the violence of his attack. "Speed is relative to perception."

He disappeared again, leaving afterimages that Dragon Slug's attacks passed harmlessly through. The massive dragon roared in frustration, his mouth unleashing a torrent of black fire that scorched the landscape but failed to touch their target.

"Too slow," Toji's voice echoed from everywhere and nowhere. "Perhaps I should slow down? Make it sporting?"

Suddenly he was directly before Dragon Slug's face, hovering cross-legged in midair, all four arms folded behind his head as if lounging on a beach.

"YOUR MOCKERY CHANGES NOTHING," Dragon Slug snarled, jaw snapping forward with faster than lightning speed.

Toji simply raised one finger, stopping the massive teeth inches from his face. "Lesson two: Force is merely energy applied through space." His finger pushed slightly, and Dragon Slug's entire head snapped backward as if struck by an invisible hammer.

From below, Gohan watched with a mixture of awe and concern. "He's... he's just playing with him."

"Playing is the right word," Tien observed, his three eyes tracking the battle. "He's treating this like a game."

Toji continued his demonstration, systematically targeting Dragon Slug's wings- it having regenerated after Toji's spear cut it off.

His four arms moved in perfect coordination - two blocking incoming attacks while the other pair delivered devastating counters.

"The wings of a dragon," Toji lectured, slicing through the left wing with a ki-enhanced chop. "Supposedly indestructible according to legend." The severed wing fell to the ground, crashing through several buildings. "Legends tend to exaggerate."

Dragon Slug roared in pain but regenerated the wing almost instantly. "YOUR ATTACKS ARE MEANINGLESS AGAINST THE DRAGON'S REGENERATION!"

"Ah, regeneration, I already saw it before, but still," Toji nodded as if appreciating a student's correct answer. "An impressive ability, to be sure. I got to give it that."

He suddenly appeared behind Dragon Slug, both right arms forming ki blades that sliced through the dragon's tail. "But perhaps we should test its limits?"

Each time Dragon Slug regenerated a limb, Toji found new ways to dismember him. Sometimes with ki blades. Sometimes with bare hands. Once by simply pointing at a wing and causing it to disintegrate through sheer telekinetic force.

"Is it just me," Yamcha called to the others as they worked to evacuate civilians from collapsing buildings, "or is Toji actually getting stronger as the fight goes on?"

"He is," Piccolo confirmed, his expression darkening. "The transformation seems to be evolving. Adapting."

Above them, Toji had begun creating increasingly complex ki constructs. His four arms wove intricate patterns in the air, forming weapons that shifted forms mid-attack.

A spear would transform into a net, then into chains that bound Dragon Slug's limbs before becoming blades that severed them.

"YOU CANNOT DEFEAT THE SUPREME BEING OF CREATION!" Dragon Slug bellowed, and unleashed a devastating energy beam.

Toji didn't bother dodging. Instead, he raised all four hands, creating a pattern with his fingers. The energy beams struck an invisible barrier, swirling into a vortex before being redirected back at their source.

"Your definition of 'supreme' is woefully inadequate," Toji commented casually as Dragon Slug reeled from his own redirected attack. "Allow me to expand your understanding."

Without warning, Toji shot straight up into the stormy sky. The clouds had darkened during their battle, lightning now crackling between massive thunderheads. With a gesture that seemed almost ceremonial, Toji reached out with two hands.

Lightning answered his call.

A massive bolt struck his outstretched palms, but instead of harming him, it coalesced into a spear of brilliant white energy. Toji's hands worked quickly, weaving his own ki into the natural electricity, transforming it into something deadlier.

"Impossible!" King Kai's voice echoed in the Z Fighters' minds. "He's instinctively using nature's ki! That's a principle of the Spirit Bomb technique, but he's applying it differently - manipulating existing energy rather than gathering it!"

The lightning spear in Toji's hands grew brighter, crackling with power that made the air itself vibrate. With perfect form, he hurled it directly at Dragon Slug's chest.

The ancient Namekian attempted to dodge, but the spear adjusted its trajectory mid-flight, striking him. For the first time, Dragon Slug's regeneration faltered. The wound closed slowly, green blood seeping from the injury for several seconds before the healing completed.

"Did you see that?" Krillin exclaimed. "He actually hurt him!"

"The lightning..." Piccolo muttered, his eyes wide with realization. "It's indeed similar to the Spirit Bomb. Like Goku once explained - nature ki can harm those with evil hearts more effectively."

Toji descended slowly, his expression one of serene satisfaction. "An interesting discovery," he called to Dragon Slug. "It seems the elements themselves reject your claim of supremacy."

Dragon Slug snarled. "PARLOR TRICKS AND STOLEN TECHNIQUES! THE DRAGON NEEDS NO SUCH CRUTCHES!"

"Stolen?" Toji raised an eyebrow, his four eyes gleaming with amusement. "Oh no, my reptilian friend. This is pure improvisation."

He extended all four arms, palms facing outward. The air around his hands began to shimmer as molecules accelerated, temperature rising rapidly.

Within seconds, flames erupted from his palms - not ki energy mimicking fire, but actual fire created through telekinetic manipulation of atoms.

The flames swirled around him, responding to subtle movements of his fingers. They formed shapes - weapons, shields, even armor that encased his limbs. Each construct burned with unnatural intensity, infused with his ki.

"Fascinating," Toji observed his own handiwork with childlike wonder. "The possibilities are endless."

Dragon Slug launched forward, his mouth unleashing a torrent of black flame. "YOUR FIRE AGAINST THE DRAGON'S ETERNAL FLAME? FOOLISHNESS!"

Toji's response was to clap all four hands together. The resulting shockwave dispersed Dragon Slug's attack completely, leaving the ancient Namekian momentarily stunned.

"Your 'eternal flame' seems rather... temporary," Toji observed dryly.

Inside Dragon Slug's mind, realization was dawning - a cold, creeping dread he hadn't felt in eons.

'How could I have forgotten?' he thought, dodging another of Toji's attacks. 'Humans - the Duskborn - the last creation of the gods before they abandoned this universe!'

Memories from a million years ago surfaced in his ancient mind - knowledge gleaned from civilizations long extinct.

The gods had attempted multiple times to create beings with perfect ki control.

The Metamorans came close with their fusion technique.

The Yardrats achieved instantaneous movement.

But humans - the Duskborn - possessed the most inherent talent for ki manipulation.

'And this one,' Slug realized with growing horror, 'is the Flaw of Duskborn - an anomaly among them. The one who once his potential is realised would be the perfect ki manipulator.'

Dragon Slug's attacks grew more desperate, more frantic.

He unleashed techniques he'd kept hidden for millennia - ancient arts from civilizations that had crumbled to dust before recorded history began.

A spherical energy field that distorted ones perception.

A beam that temporarily nullified ki.

A sound-based attack that shattered the bonds of things, as well as ones Ki infused in objects.

Toji countered each one effortlessly, often improving upon them immediately after seeing them.

"Is that really the best you can do?" Toji asked, genuine disappointment in his voice. "A million years of existence, and these are your ultimate techniques?"

From below, Tien commented to the others, "He's not just copying Slug's techniques - he's perfecting them instantly."

"It's like watching someone master in seconds what should take decades," Chiaotzu added, his pale face reflecting the flashes of energy from above.

Dragon Slug abruptly pulled back, creating distance between himself and Toji. The ancient Namekian needed time - time to formulate a new strategy against this impossible opponent.

"Running away?" Toji called, his voice carrying a note of disappointment. "And here I thought dragons were supposed to be proud creatures."

"THE DRAGON MERELY RECONSIDERS HIS APPROACH," Slug responded, his head weaving hypnotically. "PERHAPS YOU REQUIRE A MORE... EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE."

Toji spread all four arms wide, his posture open and mocking. "By all means, educate me. I'm enjoying this game far too much to end it quickly."

As Dragon Slug gathered his power for a new assault, Toji turned slightly, addressing the Z Fighters below. "You might want to move further back," he advised casually. "Things are about to get rather... messy."

Piccolo's eyes narrowed. "Toji! Remember there are civilians still in the city!"

"Civilians?" Toji glanced down, as if noticing the destroyed buildings for the first time. "Ah yes. The little people." He waved one hand dismissively. "They're hardly my concern at the moment. I'm rather busy with this self-proclaimed 'supreme being.'"

Gohan looked shocked at Toji's callousness. "But... but people could die!"

Toji's four eyes focused on the young half-Saiyan, his expression softening fractionally. "Then perhaps you should focus on evacuation rather than spectating, Gohan."

Dragon Slug used this momentary distraction to launch his attack - a complex energy pattern that split into dozens of homing projectiles.

Each projectile targeted a different part of Toji's body, approaching from all angles simultaneously.

Toji's response was simple. He created a perfect sphere of ki around himself, then expanded it rapidly. The explosion of energy disintegrated every projectile while continuing outward to strike Dragon Slug with force.

"Predictable," Toji chided. "You telegraph your intentions before you even move."

Dragon Slug's snarled in frustration. "IMPOSSIBLE! NO BEING CAN READ THE DRAGON'S MOVEMENTS SO PERFECTLY!"

"Read them?" Toji laughed, the sound echoing across the battlefield. "My dear Dragon, I can see them before you even decide to make them."

To demonstrate his point, Toji suddenly appeared directly in front of Dragon Slug's head. "You're about to try biting me," he stated calmly. True to his prediction, the head lunged forward, jaws snapping. Toji simply tilted slightly, allowing the massive teeth to close on empty air.

"Now you'll try a tail swipe from below," he continued. The moment the words left his mouth, Dragon Slug's regenerated tail whipped upward. Toji caught it with one hand, stopping it cold.

"And now..." Toji sighed, almost bored, "...a desperate energy blast from your mouth."

Dragon Slug hesitated, suddenly uncertain. This hesitation proved his undoing. Toji used the moment to launch forward, striking his head with such force that the dragon's entire body was sent hurtling backward.

"Predictability is the refuge of the unimaginative," Toji lectured, following his advantage with a barrage of strikes.

Dragon Slug crashed through several buildings before regaining control of his flight. The ancient Namekian thought to himself silently.

A new strategy was needed - one that the human couldn't predict.

As the battle continued, Toji demonstrated the full capabilities of his four-armed form. Each arm operated with independent intelligence, performing different techniques simultaneously. His four eyes provided perfect far better vision, making sneak attacks impossible.

"He can see everything," Krillin observed in awe. "No blind spots at all."

"It's not just physical vision," Piccolo added grimly. "He's sensing the Slug's Ki so well that he is predicting his movements before they happen."

Toji fired ki blasts from his eyes that sliced through Dragon Slug's regenerating limbs like lasers through butter.

The ancient Namekian responded by growing additional limbs of his own, sprouting extra arms and tails in an attempt to overwhelm Toji with sheer numbers.

"Imitation without understanding," Toji mocked, creating energy fields. These fields closed in and shredded Dragon Slug's extra appendages faster than he could regenerate them.

The battle destroyed large portions of West City. Buildings collapsed under the pressure waves of their clashes. Streets cracked and split as Dragon Slug was repeatedly slammed into the ground.

Yamcha and Krillin worked frantically to evacuate civilians from the danger zone.

"This is insane!" Yamcha shouted over the noise of another building collapsing. "They're going to level the entire city- no the entire planet!"

"Toji doesn't even seem to care," Krillin replied, helping an elderly woman to safety. "It's like he's forgotten what he's fighting for!"

Above them, Toji continued his systematic dismantling of Dragon Slug, targeting wings, tails, and limbs. Each time the ancient Namekian regenerated, Toji found new ways to hurt him.

As they fought, Dragon Slug began finally implemeting his... strategy.

Toji noticed something suspicious in Dragon Slug's movements but was too caught up in his own power to try and investigate.

The thrill of combat, the joy of finally unleashing his full power - these sensations were intoxicating, clouding his normally sharp tactical mind.

Dragon Slug attempted to distract Toji with increasingly desperate attacks, combining all his previous techniques into one massive assault.

The sky darkened further as the ancient Namekian gathered energy from the atmosphere itself, compressing it into a sphere of destructive power.

"WITNESS THE DRAGON'S ULTIMATE TECHNIQUE!" Dragon Slug roared, gathering and shaping the energy. "A MILLION YEARS OF KNOWLEDGE CULMINATES IN THIS MOMENT!"

Toji watched with mild interest as the sphere grew, its surface rippling. "How dramatic," he commented dryly. "I do hope the result matches the theatrics."

When Dragon Slug finally launched his attack, the energy sphere expanded rapidly, threatening to engulf not just Toji but the entire remaining city. The Z Fighters below cried out in alarm, knowing they couldn't evacuate everyone in time.

Toji's in response used all his four arms moving them at the same time and creating a energy construct that took the form of a massive, four-armed warrior. This energy giant mirrored Toji's movements exactly, growing to match Dragon Slug in size.

The construct intercepted the energy sphere, catching it between four enormous hands. For a moment, the two forces struggled against each other.

Then, with a casual gesture, Toji's energy construct compressed the sphere into nothingness, absorbing its power before dissipating.

"I believe that concludes today's lesson," Toji announced, his voice carrying across the battlefield.

Dragon Slug's roared in response, a sound of primal rage and frustration. The ancient Namekian charged forward in a final, desperate attack, his mouth unleashing a stream of black fire.

Toji sighed, raising one hand. The black fire froze in midair, suspended by his telekinetic power. "Boring," he declared, before reversing the flow, sending the flames back to engulf their creator.

Dragon Slug's screams echoed across the ruined city as his own attack consumed him. When the flames cleared, the massive dragon lay broken on the ground, his body severely damaged, wings tattered, his eyes seeming lifeless.

Toji descended slowly, landing beside the fallen dragon. With casual use of telekinesis, he froze Dragon Slug's head in place, preventing any movement.

"Any final words before I end this farce?" Toji asked, forming a ki blade in his upper right hand.

"THE DRAGON... CANNOT BE... DEFEATED," Dragon Slug gasped, his once-mighty voice reduced to a pained wheeze.

"And yet, here we are," Toji replied, raising the blade. With a swift, precise strike, he decapitated Dragon Slug's head, sending it rolling across the ruined street.

The Z Fighters watched in stunned silence as Toji stood victoriously over Dragon Slug's headless body.

The battle was ove-

A green creature burst from the ground beneath Toji's feet, jaws snapping around his right leg. Needle-like teeth sank deep into his flesh, tearing away a massive chunk before he could react.

Toji staggered, momentarily shocked by the unexpected attack. Blood sprayed from the wound as he tried to regain his balance.

In that instant of distraction, Dragon Slug's headless body moved with blinding speed. The stump of his neck bulged grotesquely before erupting into not one but five new heads.

Before Toji could recover, the regenerated Dragon Slug struck. His massive jaws clamped around both of Toji's left arms, biting down with such force that they were severed completely at the shoulders.

Blood sprayed across the battlefield as Toji reeled backward, now missing three limbs - both left arms and a significant portion of his right leg.

"YOU THOUGHT YOU HAD WON?" Dragon Slug's five heads spoke in perfect unison, his voice stronger than before. "THE DRAGON CANNOT BE KILLED SO EASILY."

The severed arms disappeared into one of Dragon Slug's mouths. The ancient Namekian chewed deliberately before swallowing. "DELICIOUS," he commented, his red eyes gleaming with malicious pleasure. "YOUR POWER... BECOMES MINE."

Toji's remaining arms clutched at his bleeding shoulders, his expression one of rage rather than fear. "How...?" he managed through gritted teeth.

"THE DRAGON CAN SURVIVE FROM EVEN A SINGLE CELL," Slug explained, his five heads weaving hypnotically. "AND NOW THAT I AM ETERNALLY YOUNG ONCE MORE, I CAN CREATE OFFSPRING WITHOUT WEAKENING MYSELF."

As if on cue, the ground throughout the battlefield began to bulge and crack.

Dozens of eggs that had been planted during the battle suddenly hatched, revealing grotesque hybrid creatures - part Namekian, part dragon, part.

Each stood approximately seven feet tall, with scaled green skin, vestigial wings, and glowing red eyes identical to their parent's.

"MY CHILDREN," Dragon Slug announced proudly as the creatures surrounded Toji. "BORN FROM MY ESSENCE, CARRIERS OF MY WILL."

Toji stood on his remaining leg, blood pooling beneath him. Despite his grievous injuries, his expression showed only fury, not fear. His four eyes blazed with hatred as he glared up at the five-headed Dragon Slug.

"This... changes... nothing," Toji growled, his aura flickering but still powerful. "I am still going to destroy you."

Dragon Slug's five heads laughed in unison, the sound echoing across the ruined landscape. "BRAVE WORDS FROM ONE WHO STANDS ON HIS LAST LEG, SURROUNDED BY MY CHILDREN."

The massive dragon loomed over him, all five mouths grinning. "PERHAPS YOU SHOULD HAVE ENDED THIS QUICKLY... RATHER THAN PLAYING YOUR LITTLE GAMES."

Blood continued to pour from Toji's wounds as he faced the monster before him.

His eyes burned with defiance- though internally he cursed himself for his arrogance.

(Toji's power level at full power- 4 trillion. 166x multiplier.

Lord Slug power level at full power - 3.2 trillion.)

-----------------------

(Author note: What? Toji's always been quite proud, never to the point of arrogance, but well, right now, because of how new this form is, and how much more powerful he's become, he well did.

The whole being able to reform from a single cell, was me basically taking Cell's ability as a mutation from Piccolo's DNA, to anomaly level, so Slug level regen.

So yeah, do tell me how you found it.

And the question now is.

Will Toji win? Or will have someone have to step in? If so- who?

This took me a couple hours to complete, I hope I wrote it well, had to constantly delete things I decided didn't want to happen yet. If there are typos- it's because of that.

I hope to see you all later,

Bye!)
