A blinding white light engulfed the battlefield as Toji and Broly collided in their Potara fusion.
The crimson sky of Hell itself seemed to crack under the pressure of their merging power, reality warping around the point of contact.
--------------------------
Aboard the ship hovering at a safe distance, Vegeta gripped the control panel as the vessel rocked violently from the energy release.
Even Satan and Lady Amaranth braced themselves, their expressions betraying genuine concern.
"What is happening?" Paragus demanded, his single eye wide with horror as he watched his son disappear into the fusion. "What is being done to my boy?"
Satan's features arranged themselves into a contemplative smile. "Two flaws becoming one," he murmured, golden chains clinking softly as he gestured toward the light.
"Truly magnifient." Satan continued with a voice full of delight and awe. "The Destroyer pursuing the universe's salvation- The Dark Messiah and the ever-growing warrior of unbound power - God of War, have merged into something... unprecedented."
"Is this even possible?" Piccolo growled, shielding his eyes against the glare (fusion having been explained to them by Satan earlier). "A Potara fusion - something divine - in Hell?"
"Apparently so," Satan replied with a smile. "Though I've never heard of it being attempted before."
------------------------
The light began to fade, revealing a massive crater where Toji and Broly had stood. At its center, a new figure emerged through the dissipating energy.
He stood approximately ten feet tall, with Broly's imposing size but Toji's perfect proportions. His hair was primarily black with striking green highlights that pulsed with power.
His face combined Toji's sharp features with Broly's intensity, and his eyes were perhaps the most striking feature – heterochromatic, with the left violet like destruction, and the right a brilliant emerald green.
His attire was equally distinctive – a hybrid of the Vader armor and Broly's outfit. The chest plate and shoulder guards resembled Toji's suit, while the lower half featured white pants with a red sash. A tattered cape of deepest black flowed from his shoulders, moving as if alive.
The fusion flexed his fingers experimentally, examining his hands with curiosity.
His aura manifested as something never before seen – a dual-layered phenomenon with an inner core made of (purple so dark it is black) 'God' of Destruction energy surrounded by an outer layer of emerald Legendary power.
Cumber, who had been momentarily stunned by the fusion's appearance, growled low in his throat. "What trickery is this?"
The fusion ignored him completely, continuing to examine his new form with interest. He rolled his shoulders, twisted his neck, and stretched his arms, seemingly oblivious to the Super Saiyan 4's presence.
"Hmm," the fusion mused aloud, his voice a perfect blend of Toji and Broly's – deep and resonant with a subtle echo effect. "So this is what happens when two anomalies merge. Interesting."
He looked up at the crimson sky, still completely ignoring Cumber. "I should probably have a name, shouldn't I? Can't just go around being 'the fusion' forever."
Cumber's face contorted with rage at being so casually dismissed. With a roar of fury, he launched himself at the fusion, his fist cocked back for a blow.
The punch never landed.
Despite moving at speeds that would have made him invisible to most beings, Cumber found himself unable to reach his target.
It was as if infinite space existed between them – no matter how quickly he moved, the fusion remained exactly the same distance away.
"Broji?" the fusion continued, tapping his chin thoughtfully as if nothing was happening. "No, that sounds ridiculous."
Cumber snarled and unleashed a barrage of energy blasts, each powerful enough to vaporize galaxies. The attacks seemed to curve around the fusion, dissipating harmlessly into the distance.
"Toly?" the fusion continued, completely unbothered. "Sounds like some kid's toy."
With growing frustration, Cumber materialized directly above the fusion, bringing both fists down in an overhead smash that cracked Hell's very foundation.
Yet somehow, the attack connected with nothing but empty air, the fusion having shifted position without appearing to move.
"Brojiro?" The fusion shook his head. "What am I, an anime sidekick?"
Cumber's rage reached new heights. He tore massive chunks from Hell's landscape, hurling them at the fusion with enough force to shatter worlds.
The debris simply disintegrated before reaching its target, reduced to dust by the fusion's passive aura.
"Tobroly? Like I'm some kind of broccoli..." The fusion scoffed at his own suggestion.
"FACE ME, COWARD!" Cumber bellowed, his voice shaking the very air.
"Broshi? No..." The fusion continued his deliberation, moving casually to avoid Cumber's increasingly desperate attacks without even looking at him.
Cumber gathered energy between his palms, compressing it into a sphere. "VENGEANCE WAVE!" he roared, unleashing a beam of energy that carved through Hell's landscape like a knife through butter.
The fusion simply raised two fingers, splitting the attack around him as if it were nothing more than a stream of water hitting a rock.
"Tojoly? Absolutely not."
Cumber's attacks grew more frenzied, more desperate. He unleashed his full arsenal – energy beams, physical strikes, even tearing up pieces of Hell itself to throw at his opponent. Nothing connected. Nothing even came close.
"Loji? Sounds like a delivery service."
The fusion's apparent disinterest was clearly getting to Cumber. Veins bulged across the Super Saiyan 4's forehead as he pushed his power to its limits, his aura expanding violently.
"Brolyji? Getting worse..."
With a primal scream of rage, Cumber launched himself at the fusion again, moving so fast that the very fabric of Hell seemed to tear around him. Yet once more, he found himself striking at empty air.
"Tijoly? What am I, a Mexican dish?"
The fusion's casual dismissal finally broke something in Cumber. "I AM THE HAND OF EVIL!" he roared, his power exploding outward in a shockwave that reshaped the landscape for miles. "THE BROTHER OF THE FIRST LEGEND! YOU WILL ACKNOWLEDGE ME!"
For the first time, the fusion paused in his naming deliberation, appearing to notice Cumber's presence. His expression shifted from thoughtful to annoyed.
"You're interrupting my creative process," he said flatly.
With that simple statement, his aura flared briefly – not an attack, merely a conscious momentary loss of perfect control.
The effect was immediate and devastating. Cumber was slammed face-first into the ground as if crushed by an invisible mountain, the impact creating a crater half a mile wide.
The fusion returned to his deliberation, pacing slowly above the crater. "How about one based on my purpose, cause you know, I exist to end you and all that. Hmm... Destroyer? Too on the nose."
Cumber struggled to his feet, blood trickling from his nose and mouth. His crimson eyes burned with hatred as he gathered energy for another attack.
"Obliterator? Too many syllables."
Cumber unleashed a barrage of ki blasts, each aimed with perfect precision at vital points. The fusion didn't even bother to dodge, allowing the attacks to dissipate harmlessly against his aura.
"Void? Close, but not quite..."
With a roar of frustration, Cumber created a sphere of energy between his palms, pouring every ounce of his power into it.
The sphere grew to massive proportions, its gravitational pull tearing chunks from Hell's surface.
"Havoc? Almost..."
Cumber hurled the energy sphere with all his might, the attack moving so fast it distorted space around it. The fusion finally looked at it, raising an eyebrow in mild interest.
"Ruin? Getting warmer..."
With casual ease, he caught the sphere between thumb and forefinger, compressing it until it vanished entirely.
"Wreck? No, too simple..."
Cumber stared in disbelief, his confidence finally cracking. Nothing in his years of existence had prepared him for this level of power disparity.
"Raze? That's closer..."
The fusion suddenly smiled, his heterochromatic eyes gleaming as inspiration struck.
"Bane. Yes, Bane. The source of the annihilation of beings. That's what I am." His voice deepened as he finally turned his full attention to Cumber. "I am Bane. Your destruction incarnated."
With that declaration, a massive pulse of energy erupted from his body, reshaping the landscape around them. Mountains crumbled, chasms opened in the earth, and the crimson sky itself seemed to bow before his power.
Cumber took an involuntary step back, genuine fear flickering across his features for the first time.
"Now then," Bane said, cracking his knuckles. "Shall we begin properly?"
Cumber's response was a desperate attack – a flurry of punches and kicks delivered with enough force to shatter planets. Bane weaved through them effortlessly, his movements fluid and precise.
"Is this really the best you can do?" Bane asked, his tone genuinely curious. "I expected more from the 'Hand of Evil.'"
Cumber snarled and unleashed his "Blood Harvest" technique – a crimson wave of energy designed to drain an opponent's Ki. Bane simply waved his hand, dispersing the attack like mist.
"Let me show you something interesting," Bane said, raising his hand. A sphere of swirling energy formed above his palm – half black God of destruction energy, half green Legendary Ki.
"This is what happens when two different types of anomaly energy combine. Want to see what it does?"
Without waiting for a response, he flicked the sphere toward Cumber. The Super Saiyan 4 dodged, but the sphere changed direction in mid-air, tracking him.
When it struck, the explosion was catastrophic – a dome of energy that expanded to engulf a mile of Hell's landscape before collapsing in on itself.
Cumber emerged from the blast, his fur singed and body covered in wounds. Yet he was smiling – a cruel, calculating expression.
"You think you're the first to challenge me?" he growled. "I've faced gods before. Let me show you why they called me the Hand of Evil!"
The air around Cumber shimmered as he activated his "Crimson Mist" technique. A reddish fog spread outward, corroding everything it touched. Rocks dissolved, the ground bubbled and hissed, and the very air seemed to burn.
"Interesting," Bane commented, watching the mist approach. "A corrosive ki technique that affects matter at the molecular level. Clever."
When the mist reached him, Bane didn't move. The fog swirled around him, attempting to eat away at his form – but his aura simply neutralized it on contact.
"Is that it?" Bane asked, sounding disappointed.
Cumber's eyes narrowed. "Not even close."
He raised his hand toward the crimson sky, gathering energy into a concentrated sphere. "Hunter's Moon!" he called out. The sphere rose high above the battlefield, expanding into an artificial moon that cast an eerie light across Hell's landscape.
"This moon enhances my power tenfold," Cumber explained, his muscles bulging as new energy flooded his system. "Now you'll understand why even the First Legend feared me!"
Bane watched with mild interest as Cumber's power indeed increased dramatically. "A power amplifier tied to blutz waves. You're more resourceful than I gave you credit for."
Cumber's next attack came with blinding speed – a combination of physical strikes and energy blasts that would have overwhelmed any normal opponent.
Bane blocked or dodged each with minimal effort, his expression growing increasingly bored.
"You're just not getting it, are you?" Bane sighed, catching one of Cumber's punches in his palm. "The gap between us isn't something you can overcome with tricks and techniques."
With a casual flick of his wrist, he sent Cumber flying backward through several rock formations. The Super Saiyan 4 crashed through stone and earth before managing to halt his momentum, leaving a trench carved into Hell's surface.
"Let me demonstrate," Bane continued, suddenly appearing directly in front of Cumber. "I'll allow you three free hits. Give me your absolute best. Don't hold back."
Cumber's eyes widened at the offer, then narrowed with suspicion. After a moment's hesitation, he decided to take advantage of the opportunity.
Drawing back his fist, he channeled every ounce of his power into a single devastating punch aimed directly at Bane's face.
The impact created a shockwave that rippled across Hell's landscape, shattering nearby rock formations and creating a crater beneath their feet. Bane's head turned slightly from the force, but his expression remained unchanged.
"That's one," he said calmly. "Two more."
Rage and disbelief warred on Cumber's face. He followed with an uppercut to the chin, putting even more power behind it. Again, Bane barely moved.
"Two. One more."
Cumber roared in frustration, leaping back to gather energy for his ultimate attack. "VENGEANCE WAVE!" he bellowed, pouring every ounce of his being into a beam of devastating power. The attack struck Bane directly in the chest, engulfing him completely.
When the light faded, Bane stood exactly where he had been, not a scratch on him. "Three," he counted. "My turn."
Before Cumber could react, Bane delivered a single, casual flick to his forehead. The impact sent the Super Saiyan 4 flying backward, blood spraying from his nose as he crashed through multiple mountains before finally coming to rest miles away.
"I could do this all day," Bane called out, his voice carrying effortlessly across the distance. "But honestly, it's getting boring."
Cumber struggled to his feet, his body covered in wounds but his spirit unbroken. "You think this is over?" he snarled. "I've existed for over a million years. I've fought gods and demons. I won't be defeated by some... merged abomination!"
"That's the spirit," Bane replied with a smirk. "Keep telling yourself that."
With blinding speed, he appeared behind Cumber, delivering a precise strike to the base of the spine. Cumber howled in pain as he dropped to his knees, temporarily paralyzed.
"You know what I find interesting?" Bane asked conversationally, circling the downed warrior. "I seem to have memories that aren't mine. Or rather, that aren't Toji's or Broly's. I think it's the genetic memory of the First Legend."
Cumber's eyes widened slightly.
"For instance," Bane continued, "I remember a beautiful Saiyan woman. The wife of Kaleth – the First Legend, your brother."
Cumber's expression shifted from pain to shock. "How could you possibly-"
"I remember how you looked at her," Bane interrupted, his voice taking on a darker tone. "How you coveted what belonged to your brother. I remember your jealousy, your resentment, your hatred."
"Shut up," Cumber growled, struggling against his paralysis.
"I remember how you planned it for years," Bane continued relentlessly. "How you waited for the perfect moment when Kaleth was away, fighting the Frost Emperor. How he came back to you having forced yourself on her, taking what you believed should have been yours."
"SILENCE!" Cumber roared, his aura flaring as he broke through the paralysis. He launched himself at Bane with renewed fury, his attacks wild and desperate.
Bane dodged each strike effortlessly, continuing his psychological assault. "You had killed her. Not quickly, not mercifully. You made her suffer. And afterward, you framed Yamoshi – your other brother, the one whose heart was always too soft."
"You know nothing!" Cumber spat, his attacks growing increasingly erratic.
"I know everything," Bane replied calmly. "I know how you whispered poison in Kaleth's ear, how you turned him against your youngest brother- the one he was always closest to, his oldest friend."
"I know how you smiled when they fought, brother against brother, tearing the Saiyan race apart in civil war."
Their battle intensified, moving across Hell's landscape at incredible speeds. Mountains crumbled beneath their clashes, chasms opened in the earth, and the very air seemed to ignite with the energy they released.
Through it all, Bane continued his verbal assault, revealing details of Cumber's betrayal that no one but Cumber himself could have known.
"You were always the weak one," Bane said, easily blocking a desperate punch. "Not in body, but in spirit. Kaleth had the power, Yamoshi had the heart, and you... you had nothing but envy and spite."
"I deserved to be the Legend!" Cumber shouted, his composure cracking. "I was the clever one! The strategic one! While they wasted their gifts, I planned, I prepared!"
"You betrayed them," Bane corrected, his tone shifting from mockery to something closer to pity. "And in doing so, you doomed your entire race."
Their battle moved to a lake of fire, where Bane casually walked across the molten surface while Cumber was forced to remain airborne.
Next, they fought through a field of trapped souls, their anguished screams forming a macabre backdrop to the clash of titans.
"Do you know what happened after you died?" Bane asked, deflecting another energy blast. "The Saiyan race, weakened by civil war, became easy prey for the Frost Demons. The empire you see today? The one ruled by Freeza's family? It exists because of you."
"Lies!" Cumber snarled, though doubt had begun to creep into his voice.
"Millions of Saiyans enslaved, their planet eventually destroyed," Bane continued. "All because you couldn't accept your place. Because you had to have what belonged to your brother."
They crashed through the ruins of the palace, their battle reducing what remained of the structure to rubble.
Cumber was fighting desperately now, his movements becoming increasingly erratic as Bane's words cut deeper than any physical blow.
"I know exactly how you murdered her," Bane said, his voice dropping to a near-whisper that somehow carried more weight than a shout.
"I don't know how, but I can see it in perfect detail – how you approached her chambers, how you forced her to write that false confession implicating Yamoshi, that you would spare her so long she remained silent, how you made her beg for a mercy you never intended to grant."
Cumber's attacks became wilder, more desperate. "Stop it! Stop talking!"
"I can see the exact moment when you drove your hand through her chest," Bane continued, dodging every strike with minimal effort. "How you watched the light fade from her eyes. How you arranged her body to make it look like Yamoshi's work."
Something in Cumber seemed to break. His movements became erratic, his techniques sloppy. Bane easily countered each attack, his expression shifting from mockery to genuine pity.
"The saddest part," Bane said softly, "is that she saw through you. She knew why you were doing it – not just desire, not just jealousy, but a desperate need to prove yourself superior to Kaleth. Even as she died, she didn't just hate you, but pitied you, because of how pathetic you are."
"ENOUGH!" Cumber roared, gathering all his remaining power. His body began to glow with a dangerous light, energy crackling around him like lightning. "I'll destroy everything! Myself, you, all of Hell!"
Bane watched calmly as Cumber's body transformed into a weapon of pure destructive energy. The Super Saiyan 4 had reached his breaking point, willing to annihilate himself if it meant taking his tormentor with him.
"This is my ultimate technique," Cumber snarled, his voice distorted by the energy consuming him. "Not even the First Legend could withstand it. Prepare to be erased from existence!"
As Cumber prepared to launch himself at Bane for a final, suicidal attack, Bane's expression shifted to one of genuine sadness.
"You could have been so much more," he said softly. "You could have stood beside your brothers, helped build something lasting. Instead, you chose to destroy everything out of spite and jealousy."
For a brief, surreal moment, two spectral forms seemed to materialize on either side of Bane – one massive and radiating green-gold light, the other smaller with a gentle crimson aura.
They looked at Cumber with expressions of profound sorrow, as if mourning a brother lost long ago.
Cumber's eyes widened in shock and horror. "Kaleth? Yamoshi?" he whispered, his voice suddenly small.
Bane raised his right palm as Cumber launched his final, desperate attack. Time seemed to slow as they faced each other for the last time.
"Perhaps in another life, things could have been different," Bane said softly. "Perhaps you could have found peace with your brothers, accepted your place in the legend."
The spectral forms of Kaleth and Yamoshi seemed to reach out toward their fallen brother, their expressions full of grief for what could have been.
"Goodbye, uncle. Hakai." Bane whispered, activating the Hakai energy that flowed through his right hand.
Cumber's scream echoed across Hell as his body began to break down into particles – not the normal dissolution of death, but the complete erasure of Hakai.
The particles glowed with a purple so dark it appeared black with green highlights, disintegrating into nothingness as Cumber was erased from existence completely.
His final expression was not one of rage or defiance, but of profound regret – as if, in his last moment, he had finally understood the magnitude of his betrayal.
When it was over, nothing remained – not even dust. The Hand of Evil had been completely erased from existence, his million-year reign of terror ended in an instant.
Bane stood alone in the devastated landscape, staring up at Hell's crimson sky.
The spectral forms of Kaleth and Yamoshi had vanished, leaving him with a strange sense of closure for memories that weren't technically his own.
His expression was serene but sad, contemplating both the victory he had achieved and the tragic history he had uncovered – a history of betrayal that had shaped the destiny of an entire race- no the entire universe.
In the distance, the ship carrying Freeza, Goku, and the others began its cautious approach- Satan having told them to turn back. That it was over.
But Bane remained where he was, a solitary figure in the ruins of battle.
The Messiah from Hell preparing the return of his orginators to the world of the living.
His life brief, soon ending but his impact eternal.

(Author note: And finally, the Hell arc is near it's end.
Probably two more chapters.
Well, I hope you enjoyed the long battle against Cumber, and liked hearing the entire backstory.
Well, I hope to see you all later. I'm way to tired of writing for this fic today. I'm gonna go and relax a bit with my Chosen One fic.
Bye!)
