6 days later
In the biggest mall [Reoult Xcreta] of the kingdom, five people were wandering together, looking around.
Cassian glanced at the others in his group
Elisa, Felix, Theon, and Helda.
Theon had called everyone together to buy a gift for Vivienne's birthday.
Cassian had been on the verge of refusing, but his mother's sharp, critical gaze had compelled him to accompany Elisa.
"Have you guys decided what you're going to give Vivienne?" Theon asked.
Felix smirked. "What's the need for a gift anyway? We can just give her the gift of our friendship."
The joke didn't land as he had hoped. A chill ran down his spine when he felt the weight of cold stares from behind.
Felix looked behind slowly as he found Elisa and Helda with a big smile, though their eyes were saying otherwise.
"Why don't you give back the gifts we gave you on your birthday?" they said in unison, their sweet tones laced with menace.
Sweat began to bead on Felix's forehead as he stammered, "Ha ha, I... I was just joking."
Elisa and Helda both nodded, satisfied... for now.
Cassian, his voice neutral, interjected, "Why don't you give her perfume, Theon?"
'In the end, he's going to buy perfume anyway, so why waste time?' Cassian thought.
Theon's eyes lit up. "That's a great idea! She even has a habit of collecting perfumes."
"Well, I already know what I want to gift her," Elisa chimed in, and Helda nodded in agreement.
Felix scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "I'll find something…"
Helda then turned to Cassian. "Do you know what you're going to give her?"
"Yeah, kind of," Cassian replied vaguely.
'Should I just give her what Cassian gave her in the game? Well, whatever.'
Without waiting for more input, Helda grabbed Cassian's hand and started pulling him along.
"Then come with us," she said, with Elisa joining her on the other side.
Cassian sighed but didn't resist, letting them drag him off to whatever destination they had in mind.
After entering the clothing shop, Helda made Cassian sit on a chair and said, "Tell us how we look in the clothes we'll try."
Cassian, unimpressed, responded, "Why don't you just buy everything and wear whatever feels good later?"
Helda pouted fiercely and complained, "Hmph! I'm going to change now, and you better give me an honest review."
Elisa chirped weakly, "Can you give me a review too, brother?"
Cassian, looked at her and sighed, said, "Yes, why not?"
Elisa smiled brightly, started picking out clothes from the shop, and headed to the changing room.
After a few moments, Helda emerged wearing a stunning white corset-style gown. The dress had delicate lace detailing and ornate buttons along the front, exuding elegance and sophistication. The tight fit of the dress accentuated her curves perfectly.
Cassian, taken aback, found himself momentarily stunned.
Noticing his reaction, Helda asked, "How do I look?"
Without thinking, Cassian replied, "Stunning."
Though cold and composed in most situations, Cassian is still mentally 17 years old.
Helda blushed at his honest compliment and quickly retreated back into the changing room.
Next, Elisa stepped out. She wore a delicate cream blouse with frilled accents and open-shoulder details, paired with a flowing, translucent lavender skirt. The look was completed with a slim belt and chic black ankle boots, exuding a soft and elegant charm.
"How do I look, brother?" Elisa asked, her tone filled with curiosity.
"Cute," Cassian replied simply.
Elisa beamed with happiness at his response and went back into the changing room to try another outfit.
For the next two hours, Cassian sat there, giving reviews on every outfit they tried.
Every dress seemed to suit them perfectly, and in the end, both girls decided to buy every piece of clothing they had tried.
After paying, they stored their purchases in their storage rings.
Once everything was settled, Cassian left them to go and buy his gift.
Cassian entered the jewelry shop, his eyes scanning the displays as he searched for a specific piece of jewelry.
A man with a greedy look quickly approached him, recognizing who he was. "How can I help you, Young Master?" the man asked, rubbing his hands together eagerly.
Cassian, uninterested in pleasantries, got straight to the point. "I'm looking for a simple blue pendant with a feather design in its center."
The man's eyes lit up with recognition. "Ah, Young Master must be referring to the pendant we recently acquired," he said, motioning for one of the workers to bring it over.
The girl returned with a selection of pendants matching Cassian's description. After carefully examining them, he picked the one he had in mind.
Satisfied, Cassian paid the required amount, placed the box containing the pendant into his storage ring, and left the shop without another word.
As they all regrouped at the same spot where they had parted earlier,
Theon was the first to speak. "So, I guess everyone has bought what they wanted to give to Vivienne?"
Everyone nodded in agreement.
With their shopping complete, they began to leave the mall together.
As they walked through the bustling mall, the group drew countless amazed stares from onlookers.
One girl chirped with a love-struck gaze, "Sir Theon is so handsome!"
Many other girls nearby nodded in agreement.
Meanwhile, the boys in the crowd were captivated by Elisa and Helda, showering them with praises.
"Sir Felix is also so handsome!" a girl with ash-colored hair exclaimed, her eyes glued to Felix.
Although Felix often acted like an idiot, his striking looks still made him one of the most handsome men in the kingdom.
Then, one of the girls in the crowd asked, "Who's that guy with them.... the one with white hair and white eyes?"
A girl beside her bonked her lightly on the head. "That's Sir Cassian, the son of Duke Evros."
The first girl, rubbing her head, said, "The Fallen Prodigy? But weren't his features were black instead of white?"
The second girl shrugged. "I don't know about that, but yeah, he's that Fallen Prodigy."
From the back, another girl, her face flushed with a fierce blush, said, "Fallen Prodigy or not, he's so handsome! I wish I could fix him."
The two girls turned to look at her with raised eyebrows.
Defensively, the girl in the back protested, "Don't tell me you don't feel the same?"
The two girls glanced at Cassian again, and without saying a word, silently agreed with her.
While the group whispered among themselves, Cassian, with his heightened perception, heard every word clearly.
"Fallen Prodigy, huh" Cassian sighed.
