Chapter 83 - 83

Michael immediately turned around and walked out with the documents in his hand.

"What are you looking at?" Seeing that he still didn't turn around, Emily took a step forward, came to his side, and looked down along his line of sight.

"Do you know the person below?" Joseph suddenly asked her.

The floor here is too high, and the people on the ground at the bottom are so small that they can't see clearly.

But who is the person below he is referring to?

Emily took a few steps forward and looked down hard. Now she can see it.

There was a very cool sports car parked in front of the company gate, which looked like Tim's car.

The car door was open, and the man was leaning against it, looking up.

But because the distance was so far, he might not have seen anything.

But Emily was sure that it was Tim, based on the model of the car and the man's arrogant posture.

"I know him!" Emily turned her head and said.

"Maybe he came to see you." Joseph said.

Emily pulled the corner of her lips, she didn't want this man to come here to find her.

He must have heard about her marriage last night and sent someone to find out who she married.

Emily thought of this and asked him, "Can he also send someone to find out about our marriage?"

"No." Joseph's eyes became deep, slowly moved to her face, and met her clear and beautiful eyes.

"That's good!" Emily subconsciously stroked her chest.

"Why are you afraid that he will find out? Are you afraid that he will know that we are married?" Joseph's voice seemed to carry a hint of unpleasantness.

"No!" Emily waved her hand quickly: "I told him yesterday that I was married. He really wanted to know who I married, but I didn't want him to know it was you."

"He seems to have a good relationship with William?" Joseph asked meaningfully.

Emily nodded honestly: "Yes."

"So, did you also tell William that you are married?" Joseph asked, staring at her closely.

Emily nodded again honestly: "Yes, but he was drunk at the time."

She still remembered that when she was leaving, Tim warned her not to tell William that she was married.

"Have you let William go?" Joseph asked slowly.

Emily's pupils suddenly dilated. Did he know everything?

Suddenly, she didn't know how to answer him.

How could she let go of William? In her eyes and heart, William was very important, and she owed him too much.

However, as to whether her dependence on him from the beginning was love, she herself was not sure.

She always felt that she had not really tried what love was like, and always felt that it was still missing.

Thinking of this, she raised her eyes and looked directly at the tall, upright, and noble man in front of her.

Why, with him, it felt a little different?

"It's okay, I'll give you time." Joseph suddenly spoke, and after saying this, he turned and walked to his grand desk.

He signed his handsome name on the document and handed it to her.

Emily walked over, took it, and smiled at him: "Joseph, then I'm out?"

"Yeah!" Joseph said just one word.

Emily paused as she walked out. Why did she feel that he seemed a little unhappy?

She thought to herself that this man had invested 50 million in her company, but he was the richest man in her company, so she couldn't mess with him.

So she went around him again, stretched out her hand, and hugged his warm and powerful waist.

She gently pressed her face against his back and whispered, "Are you unhappy?"

"Huh?" Joseph pulled Emily's hand away, turned around and faced her.

Obviously, Emily's hug just now was very effective. Although he still spoke a little lightly, his sexy thin lips raised a faint smile.

Emily looked at him with a deep smile, and when she was about to say something, her cell phone rang.

She took it out and saw that it was Tim calling.

It seems that he came here to find her.

Emily glanced at Joseph, but he said, "Take it. If you don't want to go down to see him, I'll ask the bodyguard to drive him away."

Hearing this, Emily's eyelashes trembled. With Tim's violent and arrogant personality, if the bodyguard drove him away, he would be furious and might even hold a grudge.

"No, I'll answer the phone first." Emily said, pressing the answer button.

"I'm downstairs at the company where you work, come down!" Tim's voice came quickly with an order.

"I'm at work..."

Before Emily finished her words, Tim immediately added, "William is dying!"

"What?" Emily's heart skipped a beat and her face turned pale.

"Let's talk about it when we come down!" Tim said.

Emily hung up the phone, looked at Joseph, and said, "I'll go down."

Joseph nodded: "If you are harassed, call me."

Emily believes in the relationship between Tim and William, and will never lie to her about William's life and death.

Taking the elevator to the first floor, passing through the company lobby, Emily soon came to the door.

Tim saw Emily coming out. Although he had already found out that she worked here, he was still a little surprised to see her come out with his own eyes.

"Do you really work here?" Tim said with some contempt.

Emily nodded: "Yes, I work here."

Tim's face was a little gloomy, he said: "You are studying pharmacy, how come you come to work here? How did you get in?"

As far as he knows, not everyone can get in to Pfizer's.

"This is not important. You just said on the phone that William is dying. What does that mean?" Emily hoped that Tim would say that this was false.

"I hope it's fake." Tim's cold voice lowered a little when he said this, and he could hear that he sighed slightly.

"What's going on?" Emily asked nervously.
