Chapter 177 - 177.No Possible Solution

Kerry gazed at Xiao Feng. "Our Bureau of Psychics only apprehends psychics outside the Alliance. This Hades is an insider—an Alliance psychic, you understand?"

"That's none of my concern. If he escapes now, capturing him later will be near impossible. Besides, he must despise you for bringing the fire truck here."

Upon hearing Xiao Feng, Kerry glanced toward the nearby iceberg, frowning. "Fine, you've outwitted me again."

Xiao Feng smiled. "It's simple—find a cold storage, bring in a crane, and relocate the iceberg inside it. That way, he can't escape. This might even be the leverage your Brom Company holds over the Alliance army. By the way, the airport is yours now. The troops I brought will guard it, and I've already deployed missile units for defense. You stay here and hold the line."

Having said that, Xiao Feng waved to Lin, Rush, and K. "Let's go to the command center."

Watching their retreating figures, Kerry cursed softly, "Damn, that little bastard really knows how to scheme."

Beside him, the sensitive Louise chuckled, "Who would've thought our director could be so thoroughly outmaneuvered by him?"

Sighing, Kerry admitted, "This guy's mind is no ordinary mind—he calculates everything precisely. I'm truly at a loss against him." He shook his head, then pulled out his communicator to contact the Brom branch in Black Whale City, preparing to dispatch reinforcements to handle this Level-8 psychic, Hades.

After the arrangements, Kerry looked at the metal-skeletal Hades, shaking his head in disbelief. This arrogant Hades was subdued by Xiao Feng—completely unexpected.

Encased within the massive iceberg, Hades was utterly immobilized, his only movable part being his eyes, yet they conveyed no message to Kerry.

Minutes later, a colossal crane and a large flatbed truck arrived at the airport, accompanied by a dozen workers gathering to observe the Level-8 psychic, exchanging lively chatter.

Kerry clapped his hands. "Get to work. If we wait any longer, this ice block will start melting."

The workers busied themselves, hoisting the gigantic iceberg onto the truck and hauling it away.

When Xiao Feng and his team reached the command center, it was already under the control of Old White and Turner. Mark's team had fully integrated the city's defense system, replacing it with one belonging to the X Legion, safeguarding it from further Alliance interference.

Xiao Feng beamed at the array of bright screens. Indeed, Black Whale City's defenses required minimal reconstruction and now lay firmly in the hands of the X Legion. He even spotted Rice leading the remaining forces, fiercely battling the Alliance troops. In mere hours, the city's resistance would be thoroughly subdued.

Turner grinned at Xiao Feng. "Looks like you took a serious beating."

Xiao Feng laughed, peeling off the last shards of his armor. "You wouldn't believe it—I nearly died facing a Level-8 psychic. If we hadn't teamed up, I'd be dead today. Damn, that psychic's power was beyond exaggeration."

Old White, Turner, and Mark's team were all stunned, exchanging astonished glances. No one could fathom how they defeated such a formidable foe, though Xiao Feng's battered appearance spoke volumes of the brutal battle.

Old White asked incredulously, "You really defeated a Level-8 psychic?"

Xiao Feng smiled with pride. "Not just any Level-8 psychic—we took down Hades, the Death God among the Alliance's Seven Deities."

Old White seemed unfamiliar with the name, but Turner and Mark were dumbfounded. Hades, the Death God, was a legend—eliciting awed murmurs from the group.

Xiao Feng said, "Controlling the airport and command center is nearly complete. You handle the rest—I'm going to find a place to take a long shower, change clothes, and finally get some rest. Damn, I'm exhausted."

No one protested. They could see how much Xiao Feng had suffered, so they let him leave.

As Xiao Feng exited the command center, the sounds of Black Whale City's artillery slowly subsided. After some thought, he headed straight to Kerry's villa—undoubtedly the most comfortable place in the city. With Kerry's mech guards deployed to the airport, Xiao Feng entered unimpeded. As the battle wound down, he savored half a bottle of whiskey before drifting into a deep sleep lasting several hours.

Near ten o'clock at night, Kerry and Louise returned to the villa, weary but victorious. The Alliance army was fully subdued—some soldiers surrendered to the X Legion willingly; the rest were captured and detained pending judgment.

Once inside, Kerry and Louise shared a tender kiss. Kerry said, "I'll take a shower. You prepare some food; we'll have a candlelit dinner."

Louise giggled, "And after the candlelit dinner… what then?"

Kerry laughed while undressing. "Whatever you want, we'll do."

"Ah… well, considering how exhausted you look, I wonder if you still have the strength."

"A real man never admits defeat," Kerry replied as he stepped into the shower.

Inside, Kerry noticed an odd scent but couldn't place it. Still, thinking of Louise's alluring figure, he hurried through his bath.

Meanwhile, Louise's culinary skills shone—within minutes, she seared steak, tossed a salad, cooked oysters, steamed lobster, set the table with candles, dimmed the lights, and opened a bottle of red wine.

Wrapped in a towel, Kerry emerged, pleased at the spread, and kissed Louise's forehead. "You're amazing—how did you prepare all this so quickly?"

Louise removed her glasses, setting them on the table. "Wait for me a moment—I'll shower, then we'll dine by candlelight."

"Quickly now…"

Like a lively fawn, Louise skipped into the bathroom, humming as she cleansed her enticing form.

Kerry sampled the salad with a silver fork, savoring the flavor and nodding in approval.

After their intimate dinner, the two emptied their wine glasses. Louise, clad only in a sheer silk nightgown, tugged Kerry upstairs.

Kerry's gaze lingered on the delicate curves and subtle outlines beneath her gown. Flames of desire ignited within him. Before reaching the bedroom door, he pressed Louise against the wall, unable to resist the depth of her enchanting eyes. He kissed her passionately.

Louise returned the fervor with equal intensity—though delicate in appearance, she now resembled a fierce lioness eager to devour him whole.

Their desire peaked instantly, hormones surging, consciousness nearly short-circuiting as they tangled together, making their way into the bedroom. They forgot to turn on the lights, guided only by the dim corridor glow, kissing and caressing along the way.

By the window, Louise's nightgown had slipped away, and Kerry's robe lay discarded. Naked, they embraced tightly.

Kerry could no longer control himself—his body burning and rigid beneath her.

As Louise allowed him to kiss her chest, she reached out, grasping his hardness, stroking with both hands, sending waves of exquisite pleasure through him.

Unable to resist further, Kerry lifted Louise onto the bed and lay atop her.

Suddenly, Louise, arms spread to welcome him, touched another body, letting out a startled cry.

Kerry asked, "What's wrong?"

Louise replied, "There's someone else here…" and switched on the bedside lamp.

Bathed in light, both saw Xiao Feng lying asleep on the bed, wearing only shorts. Shock rendered them speechless. Neither had expected Xiao Feng's presence—discovered just as they prepared to consummate their passion.

Perhaps roused by the light or having slept enough, Xiao Feng rubbed his eyes and awoke. Turning toward the naked couple, he blinked in surprise. "When did you two get back?"

Louise, stunned, forgot to cover herself. In the dim light, Xiao Feng's gaze fell upon her alluring curves, breathtakingly beautiful.
