đ Whispers of the Moon

Episode 47: The Marked Return
Juvia's body trembled in Ha-jun's arms, still sparking with residual light from the other realm. The sigils on her skin glowed faintly beneath her shirt like whispers of the battle she'd survived.
He stared at her, stunned. "What⌠what did you become?"
She opened her eyes slowly. "Something she feared. Something even I don't understand yet."
Before he could respond, the air shifted.
A howl echoed through the wind, low and ancient.
"Someone's coming," Ha-jun said, standing quickly, positioning himself in front of her.
Juvia pushed herself up with shaking limbs, her voice firm. "Let them."
From the shadows of the woods emerged three figures, cloaked in tattered silver robes. Their faces bore the Crescent Scarâa mark of the Moonbound Exiles.
The tallest one stepped forward. "You awakened the Throne of Echoes. We felt the ripples across the realms."
Juvia's hand twitched toward her waist, instinctively summoning light. "Who are you?"
"We are what's left of the first rebellion," the figure said. "The ones who defied the Moon Queen a thousand years ago."
Juvia blinked. "I thought she erased all of you."
"She did," he replied grimly. "But death is not what it used to be under her reign."
Ha-jun narrowed his eyes. "Why are you here now?"
The exile stepped closer. "Because the seal is broken. The war has begun again. And you, girlâ" he looked at Juvia, reverently "âyou are our moonborn fire. The one prophecy spoke of."
"I don't want a prophecy," Juvia snapped. "I want answers."
"You'll get them," the man said, pulling back his hood. His face was covered in glowing moonstone veins, pulsing like a heartbeat. "But first, we need to protect you. The Queen has lost her realm⌠but she still has her hunters."
As if summoned by fate, a sharp whistle pierced the air.
Thenâarrows rained from the sky.
Juvia yanked Ha-jun down just in time, the Exiles forming a shield wall around them. Dozens of Shadow Archers burst from the trees, faces masked in bone, blades laced with lunar poison.
Juvia didn't hesitate.
She rose, light flaring from her palms, wings of stardust forming behind her. "Enough hiding."
She shot forwardâblasting one archer back into a tree with pure radiance. Ha-jun flipped over another, his sword slicing clean through its chest. The exiles fought beside them, channeling ancient moonfire spells into devastating arcs.
Juvia moved like a stormâher hair glowing, her eyes blazing.
Each enemy she struck dissolved into ash and silence.
But just as the last one fellâ
A clap echoed from behind the trees.
Slow, sarcastic. Dangerous.
A new figure emerged. A woman draped in crimson, her eyes like bleeding rubies. Her smile was twisted, inhuman.
"You've grown, little moon," she said. "But I'm not impressed."
Juvia froze. "Who are you?"
The woman stepped forward, tilting her head. "The Queen's eldest daughter. The true heir."
She raised her handâand the earth cracked.
A legion of shadows rose.
And the air turned to ice.
