Chapter 70 - Chapter 70 — “The Legacy of Ray Stormbreak”

"The impossible only exists for those who accept living in chains."— Ray Stormbreak

[Flashback – Training in the Thunder Plains]

The sky was clear. Lightning sliced through the air every few seconds, as if the land itself were alive.

Inavy, breathless and his clothes torn after hours of training, looks up at Ray Stormbreak, who stands tall and unmoved—like a mountain.

"Dad... What's the formula to defeat enemies stronger than you?" Inavy asks, wiping the sweat from his forehead.

Ray smiles, arms calmly crossed.

"First thing I do: never underestimate them.Second: total focus and concentration. And third, the most important, Inavy…" he says, staring at the horizon. "Break your limits."

Inavy blinks, confused.

"Break your limits, Dad? Isn't that... impossible?"

Ray chuckles softly, walks over, and places a hand on his son's shoulder.

"I break mine every time someone tells me it's impossible. Limits are made by those who never dared to go beyond.And... I'd rather fall trying to surpass the impossible—"

"—Than live trapped in the possible," Inavy finishes.

Ray grins proudly.

"Never let anyone tell you something's impossible, son."

Inavy smiles."Got it!"

[Present – Hero City / Battlefield]

The ground cracks under the weight of their auras. The sky is stained with an apocalyptic storm.Creatures of darkness around the globe stop attacking... and kneel.

Two titans face each other:Tyrus, bearer of the Spear of Destiny and the Heart of Yon.Inavy Stormbreak, wielder of Chaos, heir of thunder, eyes glowing crimson with fury.

Tyrus smirks with disdain.

"You've changed, Chaos bearer... stronger now. But defeating me? That's impossible."

Inavy, cold as ice, replies:

"Impossible, huh? That word's not in my vocabulary. And besides... I'd rather fall trying to surpass the impossible—than live trapped in the possible."

His words echo like thunder across the battlefield.

Tyrus laughs maniacally."Pathetic, boy."

He charges forward with a roar:

🔥 "Black Genesis: Legacy of Sorrow"From the ground, grotesque entities rise—children of darkness, each born from the sorrow of destroyed worlds.Mini-gods, each with a unique power. They rush in.

Inavy leaps, spins, strikes—shattering them one by one—but ends up bloodied and exhausted.

Tyrus strikes again.

He tears open his chest, revealing what lies inside:

⚫ The Heart of Yon —A sentient black hole. The living antithesis of creation.

Inavy stumbles back, shaken."Damn... he just doesn't stop…"

Tyrus floats, eyes unhinged."You know... I used to be like you. A hero. Fought for 'good'. But I was betrayed. I was never enough to impress that old man... Yon.So I chose my own path.To destroy this world... and build a new one. A world of true merit."

He extends his hand.

"Surrender, young hero. Let me reshape the world. Your sacrifice won't be in vain."

Inavy's mind wavers.

But then Nion's voice echoes in his head:"Don't fall for that trap, Inavy! If he gets the world… it's the end of everything you chose to protect."

Inavy clenches his fists."I know. And of course I won't fall for it."

He stares down Tyrus.

"I don't care about your issues with Yon or whatever...You touched what Ray fought his whole life to protect. And for that… you'll pay."

Wind howls. Thunder strikes. Dead silence.

Inavy shouts, voice fused with Nion's:

"Look at all the lives you've taken! As the LEGACY OF RAY STORMBREAK, I'll fight until the end.Even dead... I'll walk out victorious!AND YOU WILL BE DEFEATED!"

His aura explodes, piercing the sky like a spear of chaos and thunder.

Tyrus grits his teeth."What a shame. Then you'll die."

They clash.

Tyrus summons black meteorites—Inavy slashes them all down with his chaos blade.

Tyrus charges, roaring.

But then—

⚔️ "Shura Kage-Ren!!"(Demon Warrior's Shadow Combo)A black trail streaks through the field.Seven sword slashes, fused with taijutsu strikes, erupt in under three seconds.

Shadows amplify each hit—And a rising kick sends Tyrus flying into the sky.

Tyrus turns, stunned.

"You...?!"

It's Kelvin Nox.Eyes dark. Aura sealed, but pulsing like a storm contained.

Inavy, still standing, smiles with relief."Kelvin..."

Kelvin returns a slight smile.

"Did I make it in time?"

Inavy, bleeding, grins:

"No... you got here right on time."

Tyrus floats above, wounded, enraged.

"I've already killed my father...But I won't hesitate to kill my son."

End of Chapter 70"What defines a hero... isn't the strength they have, but what they choose to protect with it."
