"The party will also serve as the appointment of the official heir of the family." Elaine says to Noah with a smile that showed how proud she was of her younger brother

"It is." He answers. "Their family is one of the Great Lions, the four strongest families after the royal family. Not only that but the Leoneo's have been keeping their title of Great Lion for the past 3 generations which is the longest out of all the current four."
"Mother was the one who sent the invitation, Noah." Eve explains
"Hector." Noah says with a frown

Noah sighs and walks past them but before he heads outside, he stops
"Please keep them under control, sister." He says as he starts to walk again and leaves the house
Hector leads them into the elevator and brings them to the mansion fourth floor in the large dressing room where maids, tailors, and others were waiting for Elaine and the others to arrive. After three hours, their work was finally done. Kenzo and the boys were wearing black suits while Eve were wearing a dress. As for Elaine, she was wearing a dark red suit with black heels that looked incredibly expensive. On her neck was a golden necklace with an obviously pricey emerald gemstone attached to it. For Eve's dress, they decided to compliment her sky-blue eyes with a dress of the same color and black small heels that even a child would be able to handle. The housekeepers and the tailors were speechless when they saw the results of their work. At the same time, Hector enters the room
"Are you still not done? The party has already started." He says while looking at the watch on his wrist
"We're ready." Elaine answers with a smile
Hector leads them to a door leading to the garden behind the mansion, where the party was being held. A little earlier, when Elaine and the others were still getting ready, people had already started to gather in the garden. Men were wearing suits while women were mostly wearing dresses. Butlers and maids were going around with plates which had either drinks or snacks while tables had actual meals on them. The door of the mansion opens, and Caesar, Noah, and Carla come out of the mansion. The three of them were wearing clothes matching in colors a beautiful dark red. Caesar and Noah were wearing suits while Carla was in a dress. Impressed by their appearance, the ballroom went silent. Once their feet touch the ground, they immediately get surrounded by the people attending the party
"It's been a while since we last saw each other, Noah." A dark, short green-haired boy says as he walks toward Noah, that finally escaped the people that surrounded his parents, and he

"So, he isn't with you?" He asks Noah
Noah stops drinking the water in his glass while Byron looks down with sadness. At the same time, the door of the mansion opens
"Wait a minute." Arlo says while looking at those who opened the door. "Isn't that your sister, Noah?"
Noah frowns as he looks at Elaine and the others walking down the stairs leading to the garden. Carla approaches them and introduces her daughter, the children as her grandchildren to the guests. That action of hers meant that the kids were now acknowledged as part of the Leoneo house. Out of the crowd, someone takes Eve's hand and kisses it. He raises his head and introduces himself to her
"My name is Arlo, Arlo Leovalz." Arlo says to Eve with a smile. "It's an honor to meet a lady as beautiful as yourself."
"Can you let go of my hand now?" Eve replies coldly
Arlo, surprised by the reaction his gentlemanly gesture received, freezes
"SEEMS LIKE YOU GOT REJECTED, ARLO!" Someone yells
"I don't see how that's any of your business, brother." Arlo says with a smile, hiding his anger
Arlo's brother had the same dark green hair, but instead of brown and brown eyes like Arlo has. He stood at 6'1 and was the same age as Elaine. He approached them with a bottle of wine in one hand and a glass in the other. His hair was disheveled, his tie was loose, and he had bags under his eyes
"Yo, Elaine!" He says while raising the hand that holds the glass in the air
"Yo, Gan!" Elaine replies with her hand in the air
The two were obviously close to each other, considering their friendly greeting. Gancelot pours some wine into a glass he takes from a table and passes it to Elaine. Kenzo puts his hand forward
"I'm Kenzo." He says while waiting for Gancelot to shake his hand with a serious expression. "One of Elaine's squad mates."
Gancelot takes his hand and shakes it with a smile
"A knight from the White Leo Order, huh?" Gancelot says with a cocky smile. "It's nice to meet you, and please keep taking care of our Elaine."
Kenzo flinches at that last phrase and stares at Gancelot with anger. At the same time, the kids leave and head to tables with food on them. Arlo takes a plate and puts food on it to finally hand it to Eve
"I would recommend these." Arlo says with a smile as he hands the plate to Eve
"When are you going to leave me alone?" Eve asks with an annoyed tone
An orange head comes out of nowhere next to Adam; however, Adam doesn't flinch and looks at Byron who is smiling
"HI!!" Byron says with energy
Adam turns around and places a piece of steak on his plate, and continues to serve himself while brilliantly ignoring Byron
"Did you not see me?" Byron asks as he continues to follow Adam
"I'm ignoring you." Adam replies as he continues to serve himself
"Why?" Byron asks as he continues to follow
"Because you're annoying." Adam replies as his eyes finally meet Byron's
"A slum rat such as yourself shouldn't talk to a Great Lion in such a disrespectful manner." Noah says as he stares at Noah
"Huh!?" Adam makes anger
Seleph stops next to Eve
"This is not going to end well." He whispers to Eve
"I know." She replies
