After the initial battle, I retreated into a dark corner, letting myself relax and heal up, allowing myself some alone time. Once I spotted the odd individuals, well, I chose to make myself scarce and walk away, crawling through the rubble as I clutched my side, still injured from that fight. As I walked away, I gave myself some time to think about this place and that creature.
The thing itself felt familiar, oddly enough, but that couldn't be possible, surely I would remember something like that...right? At this moment, though, I simply wanted to recuperate and find more information on this palent without further drawing attention to myself. If this were a native lifeform, alongside those strange individuals, I would need more information before I could properly settle down.
I needed to get my bearings and plan things out, understand this world and its rules, alongside whether there were other threats like that thing. That wasn't the most pressing concern; however, the fact that it was willing to go so far to kill me, to injure itself in such a way, just for a shot. Its speed, though, was far faster than mine, alongside its own diverse power set, even if it had only one extra ability, it had such control over it that it felt like fighting the wind itself.
Which I believe could've helped out its speed if applied correctly, along with that, it only had basic control over its own orange energy. At least from the basic abilties I saw for the brief time we fought. That and its wings looked strange; they weren't really useful for the creature since it could fly through other means. Meaning they served some other function beyond what they should've been used for.
Anyway, I eventually was able to crawl my way out of the rubble and landed in a small space between the two artificially created structures. I looked around and saw the panicked look on the people's faces, the fear and sadness behind it all. Right now wasn't the time to introduce myself to the people, to understand them and have them in turn try to understand me, no, that would need to come another time after they have moved on from all...this.
So I grabbed a torn piece of rag, I believe, and covered my body with it, running away from the crowd. Right now, all I needed was a place to rest and heal my wounds, or figure out a way to expedite the process, at the very least, I could feel them already healing, and my bruises slowly disappearing alongside the puncture wound. As I got further out of the crowded area, I could see more costumed individuals show up and begin helping the people, giving me enough time to find a safe spot to take off.

As the purple and neon green entity stared at the monitor, it saw Icraus eventually take off as the rest of the city was dealing with the damage the Harpy had wrought. On the side, the green entity was currently mulling away on a screen as a series of strange symbols flashed across it, delivering bits of data to it as the purple entity simply watched Icarus, wanting to fully understand his current emotions.
"Only 1,500 are dead, that is about 4,000 less than previously estimated numbers, including accounting for the variable known as the Justice League." The green entity said as they turned to look at the purple one.
"Yes, but it seems we neglected Icarus, emotional intelligence, as he seems not to want to help out the league and the citizens." The purple entity responded as they moved away from the screen and began floating toward a tube that was far bigger than the one the Harpy was stored in.
"Yes, it was an unfortunate factor of his birth and lack of socialization, but perhaps in time, he will learn to do so and want to be close to other beings who are similar to him." The green entity said as they floated behind the other.
In front of the two was a large tube that had another half-formed life form in it, one that was far larger than the Harpy. It was a hulking brute of a creature, one that easily put the previous beast to shame in both size and strength at least from basic looks.
"No matter during the, how many months will take to complete subject Minotaur?" The purple Entity asked, keeping whatever consisted of its eyes on the tube.
"It will take three months to fully complete, at least according to the Earthlings calendar, so sometime around September." The Green entity said as they typed away on a keyboard-looking device.
"Yes, then by three months time I expect to see increased emotional intelligence from Icarus alongside regular social interaction, as for the league, perhaps that will take time, as right now he is like a newborn child, scared to interact with the world, not knowing what to say or how to interact with others similiar to them." The purple entity said as they touched the tube containing the new subject.
"The Harpy was one of the weaker subjects, including Icarus, Mintoaru will be different, so I must ask this question again, are we doing the right thing going down this path, the subjects will only get worse from here with different abilties and varying degrees of carnage wrought in their wake." The Green entity asked, still not knowing if this was truly the correct path their species should go on.
"That is the question I ask myself every day, and yet the answer is always yes, our species is dying &^^$*$*^*, and it won't be long before this dimension is no longer able to hold ^%#$^& back for long and we must prepare, and they must too." The Purple entity said as they watched Icarus soar through the sky, eventually landing in the outskirts of a city, one known as the Big Apple.
"All we can do is hope, hope that this was the right path to take and hope that the future will be one filled with hope instead of darkness." The purple entity said as they moved away from the tube, choosing to concentrate on the screen in front of them.
"Unfortunately, yes, on that you and I are in agreement (*^%#), we can only hope. The green entity said as they joined in watching Icarus.
