Fearow did not immediately attack again. To be precise, it couldn't. But the other Spearows had already caught up. With no time to think, Ash pulled Serena up, ready to escape. However, Serena was no longer on Ash's back. Spearow's speed was very fast, and it was already too late. Serena, terrified, burrowed into Ash's embrace.

"Growlithe, use Fire Spin!!"

Boom!!! Just then, a voice rang out. Ash paused slightly, then turned to look. On the path ahead, two research institute staff members had arrived. One brought a Growlithe, and both Growlithe simultaneously unleashed their signature moves. Two fire vortexes, like fire dragons, were released into the air. A flock of Spearows, flying too fast, couldn't avoid them. After being hit, they were directly struck by the Fire Spin, their feathers turning red as they fell from the sky. Others managed to avoid them in time, quickly flying up to Fearow in the air.

"Come quickly!" Seizing this opportunity, the staff member immediately shouted to Ash.

"Serena, go!!" Ash pulled Serena towards them.

"Fearow actually appeared. This is troublesome." The two staff members looked at Fearow in the sky. They had originally thought it was just Spearows, but they hadn't expected Fearow to be here too. Fearow was much more difficult to deal with than Spearows. And before Growlithe evolved, even two of them wouldn't have much chance against Fearow. They were research institute staff, not professional trainers, so it would be even harder for them to handle.

Caw!!! At this moment, Fearow let out a cry. Its sharp beak glowed white as it rapidly swooped down, charging towards the two Growlithe.

"Dodge!!" The two staff members instinctively shouted. The two Growlithe quickly jumped to the left and right. Fearow flew between the two Growlithe, rapidly ascending, flying over the heads of the two staff members, Ash, and Serena.

Buzz!!! After flying up into the air and changing direction, the light on Fearow's long beak disappeared, and it immediately opened its mouth. The familiar move reappeared, and purple energy continuously gathered.

"Oh no! It's Hyper Beam!!" The two staff members' expressions changed instantly. Before they could react, they heard a roar, and Hyper Beam was released from the sky.

"Danger!!" The two staff members had no time to give commands. Ash, seeing the situation, quickly ran towards the Growlithe.

"Ash!" Serena cried out in alarm, but Ash had already run out. Hyper Beam descended, hitting the ground and instantly releasing a large amount of smoke upon impact. The beam swept forward along the ground. One Growlithe was in a relatively peripheral position, while the other was directly in front of the beam.

Ash happened to run over, scooped up the Growlithe that was about to be hit by the beam, and instinctively dove to the side. He then threw himself onto the ground by the roadside, holding the screaming Serena in his arms. The beam passed from behind, and the ground continuously exploded.

"How reckless!" Seeing this scene, the two staff members couldn't help but exclaim.

"That's great!" Serena breathed a sigh of relief.

Ash dove to the side, holding Growlithe, and fell to the ground. After dodging the attack, he slowly got up, looking at Growlithe in his arms. "Are you alright?"

"Woof~!" Growlithe barked a few times at Ash's voice, then stretched out its tongue and licked Ash's cheek.

"Hahahaha! It's good that you're alright!"

Woof woof!!! At this moment, the other Growlithe also ran over, barking, seemingly asking about Ash and the other Growlithe's condition.

"I'm fine, don't worry! But..." Ash responded, then frowned and looked up at the sky. Fearow was using Hyper Beam now, so it couldn't move temporarily, but it was a big problem.

"Woah!" As he was looking at Fearow, Ash suddenly felt his brain vibrate, and his eyes emitted a faint reddish glow.

"This is..." Ash looked at his hands, as if he could see a red aura within his body, connecting with the two Growlithe beside him. He then felt a strange sensation. Although it was their first contact, it was as if they had already developed a tacit understanding. This aura connected them.

However, in the eyes of the two staff members and Serena, they couldn't see anything. They just felt that Ash was frozen in place.

"We can fight like this. I have a way to deal with it. Will you help me?" Ash looked at Fearow in the sky, put down Growlithe, then stood up and said to the two Growlithe.

"Woof woof!!" The two Growlithe responded simultaneously, then quickly ran to Ash's front, one on the left and one on the right, looking up at the sky.

"He... he's going to..." "What a joke, no matter how much he knows, he's just a child!" The two staff members were greatly surprised when they saw this. Although they had seen Ash answer Professor Oak's questions, he was still just a 7-year-old child.

"Ash!" Serena clenched her small fists, her face full of worry. But in her heart, she didn't doubt Ash, but was cheering him on.

"Use Ember!" Before the staff members could be surprised for long, Ash had already begun to command the two Growlithe to battle.

Woof!! Boom!!!!

The two Growlithe immediately spewed hot breath from their mouths, and specks of fire surged out in the airflow towards the sky.

Caw!! Fearow seemed to feel provoked. A sharp gleam flashed in its keen eyes. Looking at the incoming attack, it flapped its wings and ascended higher, easily dodging the attack.

"No good. Such a direct attack won't work against Fearow!" The two staff members frowned slightly. Even they weren't confident, let alone a child.

"If you've got the guts, follow me!" The attack didn't hit, but Ash didn't care. Instead, he looked up at Fearow and provoked it. He then turned and ran into the side forest. The two Growlithe immediately followed. Fearow saw this, its eyes narrowed. It immediately descended and followed them. The other Spearows also followed.
