Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 Trelawney Arrives

If he hadn't transmigrated, Dutch would have thought the more bizarre elements in the game, the more fun it would be to play.

But now that he had transmigrated, the fewer bizarre elements, the better.

If all of Saint Denis was full of Vampires, then what the sh*t! would he, Dutch, do?

Dutch suppressed his emotions, pushing down the thoughts of these bizarre elements.

All in all, these things were low-probability events, and the chance of encountering them wasn't high, so they wouldn't affect his plans.

Dutch stood up, his mood brightening. He then pulled open his tent flap and looked at Miss O'Shea, who was reading inside.

"Oh, my dear Miss O'Shea, let's have a pleasant night!"

"Ah, um, oh yeah, yes, yes, omg!!!"

Everyone in the camp felt that tonight was particularly difficult.

F*ck! Why did Dutch's needs seem so unusually strong these past two days?

------

The next day, the sky was bright.

All the members of the Van der Linde Gang slowly woke up from their sleep, washed up, and were now eating.

Mr. Trelawny, who had traveled a long distance and found the Van der Linde Gang's location using his own methods, had already entered the camp.

"Hey, Trelawny, what brings you here?" Arthur lit a cigarette, watching Mr. Trelawny approach, and smiled.

Mr. Trelawny, full of excitement, greeted Arthur.

"Oh, Arthur, I'm very happy to see you gentlemen back on track. However, this time I've brought you a piece of news that you might be interested in."

"News? What news?" Arthur tossed his cigarette butt and stomped it out.

Just then, Strauss, who had gone to Valentine early this morning, delighted with the one hundred dollars Dutch had given him, walked over. He placed the small bag he was carrying on Pearson's table, then looked at Arthur.

"Arthur, I found a letter for you at the post office. You should be interested, as the sender is Miss Mary Linton."

"Oh, thank you, Strauss." Arthur immediately abandoned Mr. Trelawny, who hadn't yet delivered his news, and walked towards Strauss.

From a distance, Dutch, who had just emerged from his tent, watched the three men and walked over with a smile.

"Mr. Trelawny, long time no see, it's good to see you. However, you might be out of luck this time, as our gang is preparing to transform. We're no longer going to engage in those damned bandit activities, partner.

But in this new livelihood, it seems we can still stand together, Mr. Trelawny."

Dutch knew Mr. Trelawny was here to deliver news about Sean, but he couldn't say it out loud.

Instead, he could use the opportunity to inform Mr. Trelawny about their plans to change their ways, in preparation for enlisting his help later.

After all, Mr. Trelawny personally enjoyed swindling and deceiving, and all subsequent activities would not yield any income until they were formally completed, at most providing food and lodging. So, he needed to be given a heads-up.

Seeing Dutch approach, Mr. Trelawny quickly stepped forward.

"Oh, Dutch, long time no see, sir. I truly missed your charming presence. However, I didn't come here with any business news this time. Instead, I recently heard news of Sean in Blackwater Town."

"Sean?" Hearing news of Sean, Dutch expressed great shock.

"Sh*t!, that young man is still alive? Good, Trelawny, good! So, where is our only captured member now?"

David and Micah also walked over, and Karen, who was eating nearby, also came over with her food.

She and Sean still had some issues, though it was unclear if it was a one-night stand type of situation.

"Dutch, while I was wandering around Blackwater Town, I saw Sean being captured by bounty hunter Ike Skelding's subordinates. It's said he's about to be transported to Saint Denis for trial. I thought you might need this news, so I rushed over."

Mr. Trelawny, feeling extremely honored, took the cigar Dutch offered him with both hands.

"Oh, poor Sean. It's said he was beaten badly, but he still didn't give in at all. But perhaps you can save him."

Hearing Mr. Trelawny's words, Dutch's face was filled with sorrow and pity.

"Oh, poor Sean. John, David, Charles, Javier, please go with Mr. Trelawny and bring Sean back, rescue this poor child from hell."

"Children, go, go bring Sean back, and then we'll proceed with our subsequent plans. Mr. Trelawny, please come back once the matter is concluded. Your share in our subsequent gang transformation has also been accounted for.

Remember, don't waste time, gentlemen, our plan must proceed in an orderly fashion!"

"Alright, Dutch!" Mr. Trelawny was very happy.

He hadn't expected Dutch to include his name as well.

However, Micah was not seen in the camp today, which was truly a double blessing.

The Van der Linde Gang's originally scheduled discussion plan did not proceed as expected, but this was still within Dutch's plan.

Because in the story, Mr. Trelawny's arrival time was within these two days, so it was not surprising at all.

"Giddy up!"

The men named by Dutch mounted their horses and left the Horseshoe Overlook camp with Mr. Trelawny.

Horseshoe Overlook truly lived up to its reputation as a good place for a camp, because the dense forest surrounding it effectively concealed the gang.

Watching the departing figures, Dutch turned around and then looked at Arthur.

Arthur had just finished reading the letter from Mary, his expression unreadable.

Dutch came up to him, clapped him on the shoulder, and then laughed, "Oh, Arthur, guess what I saw? I actually saw a prince from a fairy tale going on a date with his favorite princess! How wonderful!"

"Shut up, Dutch!" Arthur had no good expression, feeling a little uneasy in his heart.

Mary and his affection hadn't diminished at all over the years. This time, seeing Mary's letter, his heart felt a sudden surprise and an inexplicable nervousness.

Although the letter implicitly expressed a desire for his help, he was still exceptionally excited.

Perhaps, this was the charm of a 'white moonlight' love.

But unfortunately, Mary, oh no, she should be called Mrs. Linton now, Mrs. Linton was already married.

Seeing Arthur looking embarrassed but trying to save face, Dutch burst into laughter.

"Arthur, hahaha. But I think you might be able to bring Miss Mary Linton over. Our gang is undergoing a transformation, and believe me, Arthur, we will soon no longer be outlaws. You two might even be able to have another child and have a family of your own."

Dutch patted Arthur on the shoulder, then walked towards his own tent.

"Arthur, I'll give you one day to sort out your affairs. Tomorrow, follow Hosea and me to Saint Denis. We need to start paving the way for our lives."

Dutch waved his hand, signaling Arthur could leave.

Dutch made no judgment on whether Miss Mary Linton was a 'b*tch' or not, because her indifferent attitude during the first mission was indeed a bit much, but the second mission completely changed Mary's character. He estimated that Rockstar Games hadn't finished it, otherwise the emotional line wouldn't be so crude.

But from Arthur's perspective, he certainly wouldn't think Miss Mary Linton was a 'b*tch', because they truly once had a beautiful love.

Dutch was not going to interfere; he would only offer his blessings.

As for Sadie, whom many players mentioned, she never had those kinds of feelings for Arthur. Her greatest love was still her husband, and even later as a bounty hunter, she was intent on dying, always rushing to the front.
