Jin closed the metal door behind him, the sound echoing through the basement. The Shadows' members gazed at Jungkook and Jimin with an unnerving coldness, their expressions unreadable.
Jungkook's eyes met Jimin's, and he heard Jimin mutter under his breath, "It's your fault." Jungkook's temper flared, and he exploded, "Shut up! It's your fault, you're the one who wanted to come here!"
Jimin's eyes flashed with anger, and he shot back, "This wouldn't happen if you didn't want to check what the noise was!"
Jungkook's face reddened as he glared at Jimin. "You should have punched Suga much harder," he said, his voice venomous. "That was our chance to escape, but you blew it because you didn't hit him hard enough!"
Jimin's eyes widened in outrage. "Are you kidding me? You're blaming me for this mess? You're the one who got us into this situation with your recklessness!"
RM's expression turned icy, his eyes blazing with a deadly intensity. "Enough," he said, his voice cutting through Jungkook and Jimin's argument. "How did you know our member's real name?" he demanded, his gaze piercing through Jungkook and Jimin.
The air in the room seemed to thicken, and Jungkook and Jimin exchanged nervous glances. They realized they had slipped up, and now they were in even deeper trouble.
Jungkook tried to think of a plausible explanation, but his mind went blank. Jimin, sensing his friend's panic, spoke up, "We...we must have overheard it somewhere." But his voice lacked conviction.
RM's glare lingered, his eyes boring into Jungkook and Jimin's souls. "I don't believe you," he said, his voice low and menacing.
Taehyung stepped forward, his tall frame looming over Jungkook. He leaned in close, his voice low and menacing. "You'd better start talking, and fast," he said, his breath hot against Jungkook's ear. "We're not exactly known for our patience."
Jungkook's eyes flicked up to meet Taehyung's, and for a moment, they locked gazes. Jungkook tried to hold his ground, but Taehyung's intense stare made him swallow hard.
Taehyung's presence seemed to electrify the air, and RM's eyes narrowed slightly, watching the dynamic between Taehyung and Jungkook. "V, let him think," RM said, his voice calm.
But Taehyung didn't back down, his gaze still fixed on Jungkook. "I'm not exactly in the mood for games," he said, his voice dripping with warning.
Despite the tension, Jungkook's face broke into a smirk. He was scared, but for some reason, he felt a thrill of excitement. His eyes locked onto Taehyung's, and he couldn't help but notice the sharp lines of Taehyung's features, the intensity in his gaze.
In his mind, Jungkook thought, "Wow, he's really my type." He felt a flutter in his chest, and his smirk grew wider. He knew it was an inappropriate time for such thoughts, but he couldn't help himself.
Taehyung's eyes narrowed, unsure how to react to Jungkook's sudden smirk. "What's so funny?" he asked, his voice low and rough.
Taehyung's face darkened, his short temper flaring up. "You think this is funny?" he growled, his voice low and menacing. "You think you can just smirk at me like that and get away with it?"
Jungkook's smirk didn't falter, which only seemed to enrage Taehyung further. "You'd better watch your mouth, or you'll regret it," Taehyung snapped, his eyes blazing with anger.
Jin stepped forward, placing a calming hand on Taehyung's arm. "V, let's calm down," he said softly.
Taehyung's anger still simmered beneath the surface, but he took a deep breath and stepped back, allowing Jin to take over.
Jin's eyes turned to Jungkook and Jimin, his expression gentle but firm. "Now, let's start again," he said. "Tell us your names and who you are. What were you doing in our territory?"
Jungkook and Jimin exchanged a nervous glance. Jungkook's smirk had faded, replaced by a look of caution. "I'm Jungkook, and this is Jimin," he said slowly. "We...we weren't trying to intrude on your territory. We were just...lost."
Jin's eyes narrowed slightly, his expression skeptical. "Lost?" he repeated. "In a place you've clearly been scouting out?
Jungkook nodded, his expression innocent. "Yes, we were lost. We didn't mean to trespass."
Suga raised an eyebrow, his eyes piercing. "I see," he said. "And who are you two, exactly?"
Jungkook launched into a fabricated story. "I'm Jungkook, 27 years old, and I work as a waitress at a small café. My friend Jimin here is 25 and works as a part-timer at a bookstore."
Jimin nodded in agreement, mirroring Jungkook's story. "Yeah, that's right. We're just ordinary citizens, trying to make a living."
The Shadows' members exchanged skeptical glances, their eyes lingering on Jungkook and Jimin.
RM's eyes locked onto Jungkook and Jimin, his gaze intense. "Let's get back to the question," he said, his voice firm. "How did you know our member's real name? It's not possible that you just overheard it somewhere."
Jungkook and Jimin exchanged a nervous glance. They knew they had to come up with a convincing explanation, or they would be in even deeper trouble.
Jungkook hesitated, trying to think of a plausible lie. "I...I don't know what you're talking about," he said finally, trying to sound confused. "I don't remember mentioning anyone's real name."
RM's eyes narrowed, his expression unyielding. "Don't play dumb," he said, his voice cold. "You mentioned Suga's name earlier. How did you know it?"
J-Hope let out a frustrated sigh, his eyes rolling in exasperation. "This is taking too long," he muttered under his breath.
He leaned in close to the other Shadows' members, his voice barely above a whisper. "We should threaten them, make them scared. Maybe then they'll start telling the truth."
The Shadows' members exchanged nods, a silent agreement passing among them. They would up the ante, make Jungkook and Jimin realize the gravity of their situation.
RM's eyes locked onto Jungkook and Jimin, his expression cold and calculating. "It seems you're not taking this seriously," he said, his voice dripping with menace. "Let's make one thing clear: we don't take kindly to strangers snooping around our territory. You're going to tell us what we want to know, or...things will get unpleasant."
The air in the room seemed to grow heavier, the tension palpable. Jungkook and Jimin exchanged nervous glances, their fabricated stories and bravado beginning to falter.
