POV: Bunny
The sky that morning was dull — overcast and muted, like her thoughts.
Bunny sat in the break room, her hands wrapped around a warm paper cup. Steam rose, but she didn't sip. Her eyes kept drifting to her phone screen.
No message.
Not from Unknown.
Not from Aarav.
Nothing.
It was... unsettling.
> Bunny (thinking): Since when did silence feel louder than words?
---
Later that day, she stepped into the elevator — and stopped mid-breath.
Aarav was inside. Earphones in, gaze distant, dressed sharply.
But the moment their eyes met, something in his expression shifted.
Only for a second.
Not even long enough to call it guilt.
But it was… something.
> Bunny: "You're working here now too?" (half-smiling)
Aarav: "Just came to see someone."
Bunny (teasing): "A girlfriend?"
Aarav (pauses): "Maybe."
Bunny (laughs nervously): "You're so weird sometimes."
Aarav (quietly): "Only sometimes?"
The elevator dinged.
> Bunny: "You looked... serious just now. Like you were hiding something."
Aarav: "And what did your eyes say?"
Bunny: "Mine?"
Aarav (soft smile): "They said... you're starting to see too much."
The door opened. He stepped out.
Left her standing inside — completely still.

📱 Later — Chat with Unknown
> Bunny: Do I know you?
Unknown: Maybe.
Bunny: Tell me something only you would say.
Unknown: You once cried over your pencil breaking in 1st grade and made me give you mine.
She froze.
She never told anyone that.
> Bunny (softly): "Aarav...?"
But the screen stayed blank.
No typing bubble.
No reply.
Just a quiet screen — and a pounding heart.
