Abandoned Country (India)
"Leo… you can't escape anymore. Surrender now. Otherwise, I will feed your dead body to the street dogs," a fat elderly figure with a big belly was announcing loudly while holding a speaker mic.
The area before the fat elder was dark as charcoal, as it was contaminated by empty crystal shells' radiation.
Even after several warnings, there was no response from the other side. The fellow named Leo was nowhere to be seen or captured.
"Master… we are sure that Leo chose to hide in the abandoned country. Our soldiers were afraid to enter inside the radiation zone. We even sent moving cameras to look for Leo. But he is nowhere near," one of them, in a sleek black uniform with a gas mask, replied in a muffled tone.
"Idiot… you think I don't know what's happening around me? If I don't return with Leo's dead body… Patriarch Simon will kill all of us. I don't care what you do… go inside and search for him. At least search the outer 5 km buffer zone," the fat-bellied elder named Mike declared in a serious tone.
"But Master…" the subordinate was very hesitant to enter the radiation zone surrounding the abandoned country.
"There is no 'but'... Leo killed the head of the Skull Organisation. His head now costs 100 red crystals. Do you even know how much it's worth? It will change our lives entirely," the elder shouted back as he stood at the edge of the black radiation zone. Even he was afraid to step into the radiation zone.
The soldier immediately gathered a group of low-ranking soldiers and instructed them to enter the radiation zone and search for Leo Sky, the number one assassin of the Dragon Pavilion, which is under the command of the Clark family.
The small soldier group reluctantly agreed.
"Till yesterday, everyone in the Eastern Dragon Country admired Leo as a godly figure. But today, all three countries are hunting for Leo," one of the soldiers muttered as he put on the radiation-safe mask.
"Don't even think about it, bro. Leo made a huge mistake by killing the Skull Organisation's head. Now the entire world is after him. Either he will die or rot inside this abandoned country."
"I really wonder who revealed Leo's identity. But since the Crystal Evolution, it's the first time a worldwide bounty was placed."
"And the price was a hundred red crystals. I really wonder who has such wealth."
More and more comments followed as more than 30 members put on their helmets and thick armour before entering the black radiation zone.
Many of them were trembling in fear, as they were afraid that Leo would kill them mercilessly.
Whatever the stories circulating in the world about Leo, he was greater than that. As the number one assassin, he had done many impossible things.

In the year 2033, a small asteroid came close to Earth. With the efforts of many scientists, the asteroid hit the Pacific Ocean far away from the mainland.
But within a few days, that asteroid acted like a growing plant and reacted with the underground rock. Soon, the underground rocks turned into a different type of crystal.
Humans realised the use of these crystals, which were like power cells that could act as fuel and many other applicable things.
Many unimaginable changes happened, and a world war broke out for the crystals.
But just before the world became a desert, the hidden families finally revealed their true identity and took control of all nations. The entire world was then divided into only three countries:
The Eastern Dragon Country, containing entire Asia, is ruled by the Clark family.
The Europe and African countries turned into the Northern Gold Country and came under the rule of the Skull Organisation.
The entire Greenland, Northern and Southern American countries joined into the Western Beast Country under the rule of the Shadow Organisation.
But just a few years later, the world understood the cruel nature of the crystals. After using the energy inside these crystals, the empty ones began emitting strange radiation, which caused several health hazards.
So all three families met together and decided to dispose of all the huge crystals in one place. After research by scientists, they chose India, which is surrounded on three sides by endless seawater and one side by land.
They declared India as the Abandoned Country and began disposing of all the empty crystal shells deep inside India. They closed all land and sea routes and only allowed the rich people to escape just before the enforcement.
The world now dances on the fingertips of these three organisations.
Leo was also one of the people who escaped from India just before it turned into an abandoned country. Later, he joined the Clark family's Dragon Division.
With Leo's abilities, the Eastern Dragon Country became the wealthiest, with great control over the other two countries.
But he never thought the same Clark family would make him a scapegoat for their objective of killing the Skull Organisation head.

The same thought echoed multiple times inside Leo's mind as he continued to run on the black land without looking back.
"Thirty days… perfect plan… single-shot kill… there is not a single piece of evidence. But how did the Skull organisation found my name?"
Leo muttered as he changed direction at each beep on his watch. On his back, he was carrying a strange green crystal sword, covered in blood.
In his hand, he carried a heavy bow, which felt like another part of him.
His neat uniform was now soaked in blood, and the strange radiation was affecting his senses. But the years of honing his skills as the top assassin helped him stay in control.
Suddenly, Leo stopped running as he saw the final entrance line to the Abandoned Country. Until now, he had covered the 5 km buffer zone without being captured.
"Nobody from the three countries would dare to cross this line…"
Leo muttered as he approached a big dark stone on the side. He touched the blood on his black suit and began writing on the stone surface:
"One life is enough to kill..."
