In the picture, Michelle was holding the hand of a little girl named Belle, their silhouettes striking a captivating pose. The sight made him almost drool.
"What a stunning woman. I wonder if there's a chance for me in the end?" The bald man thought to himself, feeling quite optimistic about it. Now, he was justwaiting for Michelle to show up. The moment she did, he would snatch her away and report back.
"You two keep your eyes peeled! Don't miss a thing. If the boss gets the meat, I'll just have a taste of the soup, and I'll make sure to share some with you!" He continued to gaze at the photo, his mind filled with filthy thoughts.
However, as soon as he finished speaking, there was no response.
"Damn it, what's going on? I'm talking, and no one's replying?" The bald man's expression darkened, his face contorted with anger. He looked up, ready to teachhis two underlings a lesson.
But in the next moment, he froze. Before him was the dark barrel of a gun, pressed right against his forehead. A chilling sensation spread from his forehead throughout his entire body.
The bald man's face turned pale in an instant.
"Bro... brother, let's talk this out. Please don't pull the trigger. It would be tough for you in a public place like this, right?"
The bald man felt a chill run down his spine, his voice trembling slightly. The cold, hard touch of the gun and theintense aura of danger were all too real. Gone was the fierce demeanor he had earlier.
The gunman, however, remained expressionless and silent, which only made the bald man feel more anxious.
Soon, the door of the Cadillac van swungopen. A young man and woman entered in quick succession. Instantly, a tense atmosphere enveloped the entire vehicle, making the bald man even more restless.
"Take me to your boss!" Chasel Mills said flatly.
"Uh..." A flicker of hesitation crossed the bald man's face.
"I only like obedient people," Chasel added, leaning back in his seat and closing his eyes to rest.
At that moment, the bald man heard the sound of the trigger being gradually pulled back. Even though it was already autumn and the weather was getting cooler, beads of sweat began to form on his forehead.
"Okay, okay!" he stammered, not daring to utter a single "no."
Meanwhile, in Verdant City, at the Shihao Hotel, in a luxurious suite...
"Billy, aren't you tired this early in the morning?" a woman asked, nestled in the arms of a middle-aged man.
"You're so charming; I'm full of energy!" Billy replied with a smirk.
The middle-aged man laughed heartily, clearly enjoying himself.But let's be honest, could Onyx really be considered the most stunning woman out there? Not necessarily. With Billy Bruno's connections, he could easily find any kind of woman he wanted. If he was willing to spend some cash, it wouldn't just be those low-tier stars he could get; even some mid-tier actresses wouldn't be out of reach.
Onyx, while as tempting as a ripe peach, could only be classified as a beautiful woman.
What truly excited Billy Bruno was her status. She was the wife of the Walker family's young master in Verdant City!The thrill and excitement of putting a green hat on such a new rich person from Verdant City was unmatched. No other woman could compare.
"You're so naughty, but I can't stay too long since I didn't come home last night," Onyx said playfully, a blush creeping onto her cheeks.
The satisfaction Billy brought her was something Emmett Walker could never provide.
Emmett had some physical flaws that had long left her dissatisfied.
Otherwise, she wouldn't have gotten involved with Billy so easily when he made his move.
"Don't worry, you've already been gone all night. What's another hour or so?"
Billy Bruno chuckled.
"Billy, that bitch Michelle Allen, you've got to help me deal with her. And her man? It'd be best if you took him out."
Onyx clenched his teeth at the thought.
"Do I need to prove myself to you? If you're satisfied with my work, I'll make sure to satisfy you in return."
Billy Bruno laughed again, feeling even more excited at the mention of Michelle Allen.
He hadn't had a taste of a woman like her yet.
Just as Billy was about to take things further, there was a sudden knock at the door.
"Damn it, ruining my fun!" Billy cursed, clearly annoyed.
"Billy, it might be good news!" Onyx said, his eyes lighting up as he quickly reminded him.
Billy thought for a moment, a spark of interest igniting in his mind. He got up,casually threw on a robe, and walked over to the door.
"If you don't have a good reason for interrupting me, I swear I'll—"
But before he could finish his sentence, the words caught in his throat.
He couldn't say another word.
Because he was staring down the dark barrel of a gun, radiating a deadly aura.
Billy Bruno instinctively took a few steps back, his face turning pale. "W-What do you want?"
The one holding the gun was none otherthan Suzaku.
At that moment, Chasel Mills stepped out from behind Suzaku and said coolly, "Get back in bed!"
Billy Bruno was no stranger to the underground world of Verdant City. While he wasn't as powerful as the local elite families, he still had a net worth of several million and had weathered many storms. Gritting his teeth, he asked, "Who are you? Do we have a grudge?"
Chasel Mills looked up, his tone calm yet laced with an unmistakable dominance. "I never like to repeat myself!"Billy's expression shifted again, but he didn't dare gamble with his life. He could only retreat step by step back to the bed.
"Is it you?"
Onyx recognized Chasel Mills and gasped."Shut up!"
Chasel Mills crossed his arms behind his back, his gaze sharp as a knife, causing Onyx's previously flushed cheeks to drain of color in an instant.
"You two, lie down!" Chasel Mills continued, "Just as you were before we came in. I have things to do and I'm in a hurry, so don't test my patience!"
With that settled, Berloff had to head over to Qingcheng Residence to find Michelle Allen and Belle.
From Onyx's reaction, Billy Bruno could no longer pretend not to know who Chasel Mills was.
"Bro..." Billy started to speak again, trying to regain control of the situation.
However, before he could finish, a muffled grunt escaped his lips.
A chill ran down his neck.
A sudden cut appeared, blood starting to seep out in thin streams.
Billy nearly convulsed, cold sweat pouring down his body.
"Aurelian doesn't like to waste time or be dragged into long conversations," Suzaku said coolly.At that moment, Billy dared not hesitate any longer.
Onyx was also frozen in shock!
